Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 26, teases that Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) won’t be able to get Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) out of her head. DOOL viewers know Kate recently pushed past her fears and decided to go public with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Kate didn’t count on Gabi returning to shake things up, but Gabi’s back and has already become a problem. Since Kate recently busted Jake and Gabi in a passionate moment, that’ll be something she dwells on this Tuesday. It might even haunt Kate’s dreams since she’ll have some scenes in bed with Jake.
Jake will be sleeping just fine next to Kate, but he’ll eventually awaken and wonder what’s wrong. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate will push for the real story from Jake – the truth about how he feels about Gabi.
Of course, Jake will maintain that he’s put Gabi behind him and is focused on a future with Kate. He’ll want Kate to stop worrying, but that’ll be impossible as long as Gabi’s lurking and stirring up trouble.
Tuesday’s DOOL episode will also bring Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) birthday, which Gabi previously suggested she returned to Salem for.
We’d say that was an easy cover story, but Gabi might squeeze in a few minutes with her brother anyway. However, it’s clear that Gabi’s main concern is convincing Jake that they belong together. Gabi will devote most of her time and attention to that, so Rafe will spend at least part of his birthday on his own.
In Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) hospital room, she’ll receive some well wishes from Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker). Nicole will get updates on Ava’s continued recovery and hope her life starts looking up. Although Ava will still be on edge, Nicole should see some real signs of improvement in her.
Afterward, Nicole will cross paths with Rafe and realize he needs a B-day partner – someone to have a mini bash with as he turns another year older. Rafe won’t want Nicole to make a big deal out of this, but she’ll insist on a friendly night out. Naturally, there’s the potential for Rafe and Nicole to become more than friends down the road!
In the meantime, let’s talk about Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), who’ll be in bad shape following a shot to the stomach. Brady was mistaken for Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and shot off screen, but Days fans will see all the gushing blood and panic on Tuesday’s episode.
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will work to stop the bleeding while Philip wonders what he can do to help. They’ll both do their part to make sure the paramedics get Brady to the hospital ASAP. Once dying Brady is wheeled in, Chloe and Philip will explain what happened to a fearful Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
Although Sarah is technically an OB-GYN, she always seems to pop up for important surgeries and things out of her field of expertise. That’s just how it is with soap doctors! Sarah should assist Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) or the doctor who heads up Brady’s case in Tuesday’s exciting show.
Other Days spoilers say Kristen will be hopping mad after Chloe finishes the conversation on Brady’s phone. Brady’s portion of the call was cut short due to the gunshot wound, so Chloe will explain that and hang up on Kristen.
As Kristen’s mind races with rage and all sorts of horrifying possibilities, she’ll become determined to get payback on Chloe and rush to Brady’s bedside.
As luck would have it, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) will come to see Kristen and become a hostage. Kristen will be desperate enough to grab a guard’s gun and hold it against Tony on Tuesday. The guard may doubt that Kristen would shoot her own brother, but she’ll probably argue that he doesn’t know her very well!
Kristen will ultimately turn her weapon on the guard as well, so he’ll step back and let Kristen make her getaway with Tony. At the hospital again, Kristen will slip in undetected thanks to a disguise. Tony’s hat and coat will come in quite handy as Kristen goes straight to Brady’s room.
