Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update Tuesday, June 22, teases that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will have a corpse problem after a fatal Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) disaster. Meanwhile, Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will tempt Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
At the hospital, Dr. Snyder will continue to raise suspicions. It looks like Dr. Snyder may urge Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) to pass along Gwen’s chart to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
Kayla has been curious about what’s contained in Gwen’s medical file, but Dr. Snyder lied about not having a chance to record the latest details.
Of course, Dr. Snyder really just needed some time to make adjustments and cover up any red flags. Even so, Kayla will feel like there’s more to the story once she looks that chart over.
Tripp will remain wary of Dr. Snyder as well, so there’ll be some good reasons for Kayla to keep a close eye on the doc.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will realize this is really weighing on Kayla, so he’ll propose putting his PI skills to good use. Days spoilers say Steve will want to help Kayla get some answers about the weird tension between Gwen and Dr. Snyder.
Since this affects Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) secretive daughter, that’ll make Steve invested in the outcome of all this, too.
Next, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will lash out at Xander for taking Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) to bed. Of course, Brady won’t approve of Nicole for cheating on Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) either – and with Xander of all people!
Once Brady rips into Xander, he’ll speak with Nicole in private and wonder what the heck she was thinking. However, the real problem is Nicole wasn’t thinking at all. Nicole was just drunk and in pain after Eric delayed his trip home again.
Nicole will explain where her head was and share how guilty she feels, so Brady will understand this was a horrible mistake.
Days spoilers say Brady will assure Nicole that her secret is safe with him – and he’ll hope to help her with her Xander and Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) drama as well.
Xander will cross paths with Jack after leaving Basic Black, so that could give Jack a chance to make a special request. Jack may want Xander to keep the peace with Gwen as best as he can. He might even ask Xander to look out for Gwen as a favor to him.
Xander’s already doing that and will continue to step up for Gwen when he returns home. He’ll find Gwen dealing with more of Dr. Snyder’s harsh treatment at the Horton house, so he’ll escalate things by threatening to slit Dr. Snyder’s throat!
The good news is Xander won’t slice Dr. Snyder up with that blade. The bad news is Dr. Snyder will be killed anyway! There’ll be some freak accident or possible underlying health issue that results in Dr. Snyder dying on the spot.
Gwen will panic when Dr. Snyder becomes a dead body, so she’ll wonder what they’re going to do now.
While Xander and Gwen try to figure that out, Philip will get flirty as he tries to reel Chloe in. He’ll hope to make Chloe see she could have a brighter future at Titan than at Basic Black – and a brighter future with him instead of Brady.
Naturally, Philip will have to be subtle about the romantic end of things, but he’ll definitely be hoping he can emerge victorious in this battle for Chloe’s heart. As other Days info comes in, we’ll offer updates.
