Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 11, teases that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will head out on his first date with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), but there’ll be a detour thanks to Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) latest public display of drunkenness.
Xander will be plastered as usual as he causes more drama, so Rafe will chew him out over his outrageous behavior.
Rafe will force Xander down to the police station either through an arrest or the threat of one. Regardless, DOOL spoilers say Rafe will deliver a harsh lecture and force Xander to take stock of his life.
Perhaps Rafe will give advice similar to Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) and argue that Xander needs to stop wallowing in his misery.
Whatever the case, Rafe should get his date night with Ava back on track sooner or later. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will stop this date in progress by midweek on Days of Our Lives, so he’ll have a warning for Rafe soon enough.
As for Xander, there’ll be some comical moments as he gazes as “Duke” the teddy bear in Rafe’s office. Xander will eventually go free, but he won’t stop drinking – nor will his pity party end just yet.
In fact, Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) is set to join that pity party following some heartbreaking news from Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).
Although Nicole expected Eric to come home any day now, he’ll remain out of town for at least another three months. Eric has been in the Congo with the villagers, but Nicole was counting on her husband to reunite with her and move forward with their family.
Instead, Eric will focus on some new adventure related to his mission.
On Tuesday’s episode of Days of Our Lives, Nicole will seethe over Eric making another unilateral decision and disappointing her like this. To make matters worse, it seems Eric won’t even be willing to talk it over.
Eric will apparently just drop this bomb over the phone and leave Nicole to deal with her anger as well as her heartache on her own.
Nicole will fully intend to spend a lonely night at the pub drinking alone, but she’ll cross paths with Xander while she’s there. This will lead to some dangerous commiserating by Wednesday, but the end of Tuesday’s episode may be when they first hit the bottle together.
Next, Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will think she’s figured out why “Kate” is acting so strange. Sami knows Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is the master of disguise, so she should figure out that Kristen is posing as Kate using a realistic mask.
As for Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), it looks like she’ll doubt the sincerity of Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) speech. Jake will make a pitch to be together, but Gabi will probably reiterate that she doesn’t want to be Kate Roberts DiMera’s (Lauren Koslow) sloppy seconds.
It’s clear that Gabi doesn’t want to win by default or feel like she’s a second choice.
Gabi and Jake don’t know Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) posed as Kate to dump Jake, but that doesn’t matter when it comes to Gabi’s feelings on the matter. Although Gabi will lock lips with Jake, she won’t be ready to take the plunge with him.
Jake will wind up getting some guidance from Xander, so Xander should squeeze that in sometime between all the police and drinking drama! It turns out Jake will finally understand what it’s going to take to win Gabi over – and that’s total devotion.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will resolve to show Gabi that she’s the one and only woman he wants to be with.
Until then, Gabi will misunderstand some situation that greatly amuses Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). Gabi will open a gift bag with some lingerie inside, so she may think it’s a present and remind Philip of their previous bedroom disaster.
Maybe Gabi will fear this is Philip’s attempt to make another move.
Of course, this may just be some new sample for the Gabi Chic line or something along those lines. Days spoilers say Philip will get a kick out of Gabi’s panicked confusion, but they’ll end this discussion on a heartfelt note.
Gabi will appreciate Philip’s friendship, so she’ll pull him into a warm embrace and express her gratitude since he’s been understanding about her rejection.
