Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 27, teases that Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) is in for a huge shock. After Anna heads to Jennifer Horton’s (Cady McClain) place to see Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) she’ll rant about Gwen Rizczech. (Emily O’Brien).
Anna will hope that Gwen’s days of torturing the Deveraux clan are over.
That’s when Abigail will point out that Gwen actually claims to be part of the family! Days spoilers say Abigail will offer updates on Gwen’s sob story and why she’s so determined to get revenge.
Anna will take in the news that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) may be Gwen’s biological father. Abigail was targeted along with Jack because she was the precious daughter that was handed everything.
After Anna reacts to this half-sister surprise, she may suspect it’s just another one of Gwen’s twisted tactics. Abigail might counter that they can’t know anything for sure without a DNA test.
Luckily, one of those is coming up next week and it should confirm that Gwen’s telling the truth about Daddy dearest.
In the meantime, Anna will change the subject to Abigail’s marriage and whether it can be saved. Abigail may admit she’s not sure after all the broken promises and betrayals.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has hurt Abigail repeatedly, so she won’t know if she can sign up for more potential heartbreak. Still, Anna might suggest there’s always hope. She thought Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) was dead and gone forever, but he walked back into Anna’s life.
That taught Anna a lot about never giving up on true love, so she may pass that lesson along to Abigail on Wednesday’s DOOL episode.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will rip into Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) over the erupting mob drama. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) has been shot, so Xander will hold Philip responsible.
However, Philip may argue that Xander knew the potential for deadly consequences when he dissolved that shell company. Philip will probably insist that if Xander wants someone to blame, he should look in the mirror!
Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will wonder what the heck’s going on, so Xander will snitch on Philip for taking over Titan so he could use it for money laundering. He’ll contend that Philip put on a big act for Victor’s benefit – all so Philip could take care of his gambling debt and get the Vitali mob family off his back.
Philip will defend his decision since the mob wanted him six feet under. This was the only way out that Philip could see, so he’ll hope Victor can cut him some slack. Victor will be enraged over Philip’s betrayal, but he certainly won’t praise Xander for how he escalated things either.
Even so, Victor will concentrate on the outcome for Brady, who was mistaken for Philip in a mob hit gone wrong. That’ll add to Victor’s anger, but he’ll just have to have faith that Brady’s going to be all right.
Other Days spoilers say Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will get confused about how Brady landed in that hospital bed. Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) was babbling on about how this was all her fault, so Kristen’s anxious to find out what that’s supposed to mean.
Alas, Kristen won’t give Chloe much of a chance to explain. She’ll whip out her gun and point it at Chloe, who’ll worry this encounter could head south quickly. Chloe will basically prepare to die since she knows Kristen is capable of anything, especially when she’s out for revenge.
Before Kristen can fire a shot at Chloe, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will rush in and talk her down. He’ll probably help Kristen grasp the fact that Chloe didn’t actually shoot Brady.
Kristen may still hold Chloe at fault for pulling him into a dangerous situation, but she’ll finally lower her weapon. John might help Kristen see that if she murders Chloe, she’ll have no chance of freedom ever again.
Kristen has likely tacked on a considerable amount to her prison sentence, which is a shame since she’s got a young daughter waiting for her. What about little Rachel Black (Josephine and Rosalind May), who’s missing her mom?
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad and Tony will team up on Wednesday for Kristen’s sake. It looks like these brothers will try to help Kristen beat at least some of the new charges.
Since Brady was facing a life-threatening crisis, Tony and Chad may want to talk to the right people and make a case for why Kristen lost it temporarily. Kristen made moves of desperation, so Tony and Chad will hope to undo some of the damage.
Of course, Kristen will still have to be handcuffed and taken back to Statesville. After Kristen cradles unconscious Brady’s head and reassures him, she’ll talk to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
Marlena will have some positive words for Kristen about Brady and Rachel, so she’ll send Kristen off with some comfort. Once Kristen gets a pep talk, she’ll be escorted back to the prison soon enough.
