Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, June 2, teases that Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will land in some cabin danger when Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) delivers some deadly knife orders to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). The Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) murder case will also be closed after Belle Brady (Martha Madison) surrenders to the pressure she’s up against.
Jan will hold Chloe and Claire at gunpoint as she takes them to a familiar cabin on Wednesday’s DOOL episode. It’ll be the same one where Claire tried to set Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) on fire, but Claire will become the victim this time around.
Jan will make sure Claire is bound and gagged while she awaits updates from Belle.
DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) feels confident Belle is the guilty party, so she’ll urge Belle to save the court a lot of trouble and just confess.
Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) may not like the idea of caving in and giving Jan what she wants, but Belle will want to do everything in her power to protect Claire.
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will understand Belle’s decision and promise to sort this out somehow. He’ll warn that Jan’s not going to win this one, but Jan will indeed think she’s pulled off a major victory.
Once Jan sees a news post about Belle pleading guilty and heading straight to Statesville, she’ll practically be jumping with joy.
From where Jan’s standing, this will be step one toward her new life with Shawn. The only problem is that Jan already blabbed to Claire about her role in Charlie’s death.
Since Belle’s confession and incarceration should close the case, Jan won’t want it reopened thanks to Claire’s ramblings. She won’t want Belle to get off the hook either, so she’ll be presented with a dilemma.
Of course, Jan is someone who always finds a way to deal with the obstacles she’s facing – even if she chooses rather wild methods! Days spoilers say Jan won’t want another murder on her hands, especially Claire’s since they used to be friends.
Jan’s solution will be for Chloe to kill Claire instead – and Chloe will play along since she’ll hope she can take Jan’s gun from her. That plan will hit a snag since Jan will keep the gun and give Chloe a giant knife to use as the murder weapon.
Although Jan will toss around some serious threats, Chloe will shut down the idea of killing Claire and force Jan to come up with a new tactic.
Jan will decide she could use mega bucks and a private jet for a quick getaway, so those will be on her list of demands when she calls Philip. If Philip ever wants to see his precious Chloe again, Jan will warn that he’d better listen up!
At Statesville, Clyde Weston (James Read) will sit down for a little chat with his son. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will hope Clyde can guide him down the right path, so what kind of questions will he ask?
This may involve Ben’s attempt to deal with his guilty conscience, which is manifesting in the form of his dead sister, Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause).
Maybe Clyde can help Ben make peace with the past somehow – at least long enough to concentrate on the task at hand and come to Claire’s rescue.
As for Ciara, will Clyde push Ben to fight for true love and ignore those divorce papers? Regardless, Days spoilers say that’s exactly what Ben will decide to do down the road!
Until then, let’s discuss the friendship that’s about to form between Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). There’ll be a sweet hug between Marlena and Paulina in the Horton Town Square along with talk about Paulina’s business strategy.
Unfortunately, Paulina has a hidden agenda that Marlena won’t be privy to. That agenda will bring conflict between Paulina and the people she cares about, so she’d better be ready for some DOOL fireworks sooner or later! We’ll offer updates as other Days news comes in.
