Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, June 23, teases that Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will buy a drunk Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) lie while Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) reacts to some messy family news. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will also make a surprising discovery, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
At the Horton house, Julie will walk in the living room before Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) have a chance to hide Dr. Snyder’s body.
Julie will wonder what’s going on, so Xander and Gwen will fib about one of Jack’s buddies being too plastered to drive home.
Gwen and Xander will act like Dr. Snyder just passed out drunk on the couch, so that’ll leave Julie fuming over Jack’s choice in friends and houseguests.
Once that crisis is averted, Xander and Gwen will start mulling over how to get this body out of the house. They’ll settle on not calling 911 and decide covering this up is the best course of action.
Days spoilers say Xander and Gwen will face another snag when Jack comes home sooner than they anticipated.
Gwen will manage to think fast and drape a blanket over the doc’s corpse on the floor. Gwen and Xander will do their best to act casual as they watch television together.
Jack will discover the two of them hanging out and think it’s a bit odd at first, but Xander and Gwen may argue that they’re just trying to take Jack’s advice. Since Gwen and Xander won’t be fighting, Jack will take that as a win and head on his way.
Soon after, Xander and Gwen will apparently transport Dr. Snyder’s body down to the lake and shove it in the water. Some of this is bound to happen off screen, but it’ll still be fun watching Xander and Gwen team up on this dumping mission.
In the meantime, Lani will get updates on Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) bedroom time. Paulina will confess to hitting the sheets with Abe Carver (James Reynolds), so Lani will realize her father and aunt have taken things to the next level.
Of course, Lani has always had some concerns about Paulina’s tendency to move from project to project – and perhaps man to man. Paulina isn’t someone who usually keeps her attention on one thing for too long, so Lani may warn Paulina not to break Abe’s heart.
Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will practically give Abe a high five when he finds out the latest developments. Abe will reveal that things took a passionate turn after his nightcap with Paulina, so Roman will be pleased to see Abe putting himself out there again.
Other Days spoilers say Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will have a special request for Julie. It sounds like Julie will be in charge of testing the finished doughnut product and approving it for Sweet Bits Bakery.
Julie can be hard to please in situations like this, but she may have to admit that these doughnuts measure up.
As for Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), they’ll get Jack off their back when it comes to his questions about Gwen.
Steve and Kayla will continue to chase answers about Gwen, Dr. Snyder and the clandestine drug operation at the hospital, but the less Jack knows, the better – at least for now.
