Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, March 17, teases that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will have Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) on his mind as he sleeps.
A hot Gabi dream should leave Jake unsettled and unable to shake the pull he feels, but he’ll do his best to hide it from Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow).
Over with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), he’ll examine the murder weapon in his office and decide it’s time to track down its owner.
It turns out the gun Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) found in Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) apartment belongs to Kate, who obviously had a motive to kill Charlie for what he did to her granddaughter, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will be with Kate as she faces an informal interrogation. When Rafe starts making veiled accusations and asking uncomfortable questions, Jake may step up to defend Kate.
DOOL fans might see Jake argue that Kate had nothing to do with Charlie’s death, but the truth is Kate owns this gun and has been known to fire at other Salemites. Just ask Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) and Clyde Weston (James Read)!
However, we have to acknowledge that Allie stole Kate’s gun when she pulled it on Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). Both Kate and Rafe know that, so Allie’s name may come up at some point. Kate might land in tricky territory as she tries to protect both Allie and herself.
Meanwhile, Allie will think back on the night of Charlie’s murder. Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) just asked if Allie killed Charlie, but Allie hasn’t admitted to that. She’s only insisted that it’s her fault that Sami’s in her current predicament. What does that mean exactly?
It could mean that Allie stole the gun with the intention to kill Charlie, but it doesn’t mean that she actually murdered him. Regardless, Days spoilers say there’ll be some flashback scenes were Allie removes the gun from Kate’s cabinet.
DOOL will hopefully retrace Allie’s step and give fans a deeper understanding of what went down from her perspective.
Based on Days spoilers for next week, it looks like Allie’s innocent of the murder itself. Even so, Allie’s made a mess – and Sami’s made a bigger one!
Once Allie heads home to Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker), Allie should find out that Rafe’s been trying to protect her from feeling extra guilt by preventing Sami visits.
Allie should also find out about the murder weapon that could clear Sami – though Allie may worry it’ll point the finger at her instead.
In the meantime, we should talk about Gabi and Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) faceoff in Wednesday’s episode. Since Rafe invited Ava to stick around at his place even after Charlie’s death, she’ll manage to get on Gabi’s nerves.
Gabi may not see why Ava doesn’t go home to her perfectly good apartment across town. It’s not like the Hernandez home is huge, so Gabi might feel like it’s just not big enough for another roommate.
Rafe may encourage his sister to be nice to their guest if he finds out any of this drama’s going on.
Tripp will also wade into this tension and may rush to his mom’s defense when Gabi basically accuses Ava of murder. Gabi will leave Ava seething when she brings up a discovery she made the night Charlie was killed.
Ava got caught slipping out the backdoor – and Gabi was the one who saw it. That’s only going to add to the friction between Ava and Gabi, who should end up in a war of words on Wednesday, March 17.
Days spoilers say Gabi will ultimately get fed up and decide to move back to the DiMera mansion. Gabi may use Ava as her excuse, but being under the same roof as Jake could be the real reason. Gabi’s kidding herself if she thinks she’s actually going to stop chasing after him!
At the hospital, Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will continue her terrified outburst. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) was taken aback as Ciara called him the necktie killer and warned him to get away from her. Ben will find out why Ciara’s not acting like her usual self.
Ciara has amnesia, so her mind has gone back to before her motorcycle accident in 2018. It could take some work to pinpoint that exactly, but Kayla Brady Evans (Mary Beth Evans) will eventually push Ben to leave and nail down the details of Ciara’s memory loss.
The last thing Ciara remembers will be around when she fought with Claire over Tripp – back when they got busted looking too close for comfort under a blanket together. That’s why when Claire enters Ciara’s room, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will be ready to fight all over again.
