Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of February 15-19 reveals that the show’s new extended weekly preview promises some fierce faceoffs.
First, let’s talk about Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) fury over what Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) did to Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer). Days fans know Gwen claims Laura had a freak accident and hit her head on a table following their showdown.
However, Abigail will vehemently disagree when she has a showdown of her own with Gwen! After Laura’s funeral, Abigail will spend some time reflecting at Laura’s grave.
Gwen will appear and cause Abigail to hit the roof soon after. DOOL’s extended weekly promo shows Abigail lunging at Gwen after accusing her of killing her grandmother.
Abigail will try to strangle Gwen, but she’ll ultimately release her half-sister and decide she’ll have to find another path to vengeance. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will vent to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) about their common enemy.
Gabi hates Gwen almost as much as Abigail does, so Abigail will explain to Gabi how desperately she wants to see Gwen get what she deserves. “What’s your plan?” a curious Gabi wonders in the extended weekly preview video.
Abigail will hope they can team up to take Gwen down once and for all, so we’ll see if Gabi can fit revenge on Gwen into her busy schedule.
Gabi will indeed be a busy woman since she’ll have to make another Titan pitch now that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is out of the company. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will make a deal with Philip, but Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) could put that deal in jeopardy.
After Kate goes to Philip and starts fishing for info, Philip will taunt his mom about how irresistible Gabi is and suggest that Kate’s worried about losing her boy toy.
Kate may claim she trusts Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), but she certainly doesn’t trust Gabi not to pounce and manipulate her way into getting what she wants.
Gabi will pull a bit of a trick in the town square after she drops something and picks it up slowly. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will move rather seductively and let Jake savor the view, so she’ll know exactly what she’s doing here.
Since Jake’s fighting his feelings for Gabi, she’ll try some temptation tactics and make Jake see what he’s missing out on.
As for Philip, he’ll have to listen to Kate’s words of warning and figure out if he really wants to work with Gabi.
Over with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), they’ll cross paths with Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) and spark some tense moments.
Allie will confirm to her dad that Charlie’s the guy who went after her in London, so Lucas will waste no time ripping into him.
“Man, I’m gonna kill you!” Lucas yells as he rushes toward Charlie in the extended weekly preview clip. Days spoilers state that Lucas will snatch Charlie’s jacket and bark all kinds of threats at him.
Allie will do her best to deescalate the situation, so Lucas will calm down somewhat and let Charlie go.
Before they part ways, Lucas will make it clear that Charlie had better not go near Allie or Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) ever again.
Charlie will get his first glimpse of Henry in the week ahead – perhaps even during this confrontation since Henry will be in the stroller Allie’s pushing. It could leave Henry vulnerable to Charlie if he decides he wants to be a father to the kid after all.
Of course, Charlie won’t be a threat for much longer since his murder mystery’s set to kick off not this week but the next. At the hospital, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will be taken aback when Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) offers what appears to be a handmade Valentine’s Day card.
Brady will wonder if Chloe’s asking him to be her Valentine, so that may score a chuckle from Chloe.
Chloe might suggest that friends can be Valentines, too – and the card might be from Rachel Black anyway. Rachel enjoys crafting since she made Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) a little snowman card back at Christmas, so maybe it’s Daddy’s turn to get a Valentine that also serves as a get-well-soon card.
Whatever the case, Brady and Chloe will share some laughs as they continue to connect. Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) will witness the growing bond right before her very eyes, so she’ll determine that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) really does need to be on the outside so she can spy for herself.
Susan won’t love the thought of willingly making herself an inmate, but Kristen will remind her it’s for a good cause. Kristen will once again run down the list of all the ways Susan will be helping, so they’ll move forward with plans to trade places with the aid of disguises.
Meanwhile, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will panic over Xander’s sudden marriage proposal.
DOOL viewers know Xander and Sarah rushed into an engagement last time – and that ended with Sarah finding out Xander switched her dead daughter for “Bristen’s” living one right before the ceremony.
Sarah dumped Xander at their wedding, so it’s been quite a journey to get back to where they were romantically. Nevertheless, enough time has passed for Xander to be able to gather up his courage and propose again.
It seems it’ll be a spur-of-the-moment thing where Xander just can’t wait to ask Sarah to be his wife any longer.
Sarah’s response? “Let’s have cake!” Sarah declares nervously as she reaches for the cake box she picked up from the pub. Xander will be saddened by Sarah’s reaction, but he’ll gush about how much he loves her and vow not to give up.
It looks like Sarah will surrender in the coming episodes and agree to marry Xander despite her fears.
Finally, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will get a couple more hints about Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) tight spot. The connection will be terrible on Ben’s phone call with Ciara, but it’ll allow them to make contact.
Ben will receive some updates from Clyde Weston (James Read) as well, which will let Ben know Vincent Belman (Michael The) is dead.
Ben will discover that Orpheus (George DelHoyo) is now mixed up in all this and seems to have hijacked Vincent’s plot. Something tells us Orpheus is the reason Vincent is deceased.
The prison staff will claim it was suicide, but will apparently point the finger at Orpheus and see what he can pry out of him for Ben’s sake.
Clyde will put Ben a step closer to finding Ciara, but Ben will need some backup. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will tell Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) that Ciara is in trouble and needs their help.
DOOL’s weekly preview promo video features Ciara angrily shouting at someone to shoot her, but she obviously won’t really mean it. Ciara will just be reacting to a jam and making some sort of maneuver.
Rhodes (Jason Downs) will be duped by Orpheus, so perhaps Rhodes will still think he’s receiving orders from Vincent – or that Orpheus was asked to take over the scheme following Vincent’s demise. Either way, Rhodes will tell Ciara that her circumstances are set to change.
At one point in the preview video, blood’s splattered across Ciara’s plexiglass cage. It’s possible Rhodes will be killed right in front of Ciara. It might even be Ciara imagining some terrible scenario in her own mind, but the point is shots will be fired and danger will erupt.
Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) will show up to apparently take over as Ciara’s captor, so that fits with Rhodes potentially facing a grim fate.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Evan is a risky choice to get involved since part of him does battle guilt about doing his father’s dirty work.
Even so, Orpheus will rely on Evan’s help and push his son to follow his orders. It looks like Evan may hold Ciara at gunpoint and move her to another location – just before Ben and Shawn barge in and find the old place empty.
