Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, April 14, teases that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will hit the roof over the bomb Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) inadvertently dropped. Gwen wasn’t quite ready to reveal her pregnancy news to Abigail, but her half-sister heard it anyway.
Abigail will reel as she wraps her head around this baby twist and will no doubt blame Gwen for getting knocked up on purpose. Of course, Gwen will insist she didn’t mean for this to happen. She’ll assure Abigail that she takes no pleasure in this family setback, so Abigail will offer a quick fix.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will point out that Gwen can just abort the baby. She’ll have a trip to the clinic all planned out, but Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will think Gwen seems overwhelmed and confused about what she wants.
This isn’t a decision that should be taken lightly, so Jack won’t want Abigail to be so pushy about terminating the pregnancy. Abigail may feel like Jack is taking Gwen’s side once again, but he’ll just want to respect Gwen’s choice and give her a chance to think.
Naturally, Gwen can’t take all that long since she supposedly got pregnant on New Year’s Eve. The clock is ticking, so Gwen needs to give this some serious thought and decide whether she really wants to keep this baby.
It won’t be long until Gwen’s considering the idea of starting a new family – especially since she may never be fully accepted by the Deveraux clan. DOOL fans can expect Gwen to settle on moving forward with the pregnancy next week, so Abigail isn’t going to be happy about that.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has a baby shocker headed his way eventually, but he’ll focus on someone else’s problems first. When Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) drops by the DiMera mansion, Chad will give him a warm welcome.
Theo will seem uneasy about something, so Chad will be more than willing to offer a sympathetic ear along with some guidance.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Theo will confess a secret to Chad. He’ll admit to having feelings for Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), but he’ll know it’s complicated due to Ciara’s amnesia and marriage.
If Ciara could recall her love story with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), she’d choose her husband in a heartbeat.
However, Theo may also point out that Ciara’s doctors don’t know if she’ll ever remember those missing years. If Ciara doesn’t, Theo may not see why she shouldn’t find happiness again – and he’d like to be the person who brings her that happiness.
Chad will never be able to forget Ben’s sinister past completely, so he may feel like Theo is a better match for Ciara. Even so, Chad may worry that Theo will start something up with Ciara – only to be devastated when she remembers Ben and goes back to him.
Chad’s advice might be for Theo to proceed with caution and concentrate on protecting his own heart as well as Ciara’s. That said, Ciara can only go on what she feels in this moment – and what she feels in this moment is growing love for Theo. They’re two consenting adults, so Chad may feel they have to decide between them what they want.
Next, Ciara will be surprised by a familiar face at the hospital. She’ll greet Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), who’ll have a letter that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) wanted delivered to her.
Victor is apparently away with Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), but he wanted to get in touch with his beloved granddaughter now that he knows she’s alive and well.
Ciara will appreciate Victor’s touching comments and may find some much-needed advice in that note, too. Victor has always been a go-getter, so he might push Ciara to make the most of this second chance at life and live it to the fullest.
Ciara should be ready to make a bold move right Theo shows up for another visit.
DOOL fans will see Ciara plant a kiss on Theo, who’ll reciprocate – at least at first. Theo and Ciara will feel some serious sparks, but the issue of Ciara’s marriage to Ben will remain.
Theo will wrestle with that in the coming episodes, but Ben will be more concerned about this little side romance that’s going on!
Ben may catch a glimpse of the smooch and decide it’s time to take charge of the situation. Days spoilers state that Ben will work to get his hands on Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) memory-enhancing drug over the next couple episodes, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will wonder if Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) would like to go on a date – and it seems he’ll want a real one! Philip enjoys Gabi’s company and thinks she’s a beautiful, intelligent woman.
There’s a lot to like from where Philip’s standing, so he won’t see why they shouldn’t pursue a true romance.
Philip will get that their previous displays of affection were about riling up Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow), but he’ll think maybe a fresh start with Gai could be a good thing for both of them.
Gabi will briefly mull over Philip’s offer before accepting it. Although Gabi might make Philip think she’s genuinely interested, there’s a good chance this will mostly be about her Jake agenda deep down.
Regardless, Gabi won’t mind the idea of Philip showering her with attention and gifts – including the flower bouquet he’s set to offer soon.
