Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, August 18, tease that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will surprise EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) and flirt with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) suspicious texts will also raise more questions for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
EJ was taken aback over someone entering the DiMera mansion living room through the secret passageway, but it’s not an intruder.
It looks like Johnny just wanted to roam around down in the DiMera tunnels. Johnny might suggest that he used to sneak down there when he was a kid and thought it’d be fun to revisit his childhood.
Whatever the case, Johnny is all grown up like his twin sister Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and will happily greet EJ on Wednesday.
Due to soapy circumstances, Johnny has a different father than Allie and is a member of the DiMera clan.
Of course, that means EJ will be hopeful about Johnny sticking around and working with him at DiMera Enterprises.
Johnny will be hesitant to get caught up in the family business, but he’ll enjoy catching up with EJ before flirting with Chanel a little later.
Chanel should be intrigued by Johnny as they share a toast. She won’t realize Johnny is Allie’s twin brother, so that’ll make things messy soon enough!
In the meantime, Allie will take her concerns about Sami’s vanishing act to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will be on hand to support Allie as they all gush over Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) and discuss their Sami fears.
John will ultimately decide to pay EJ a visit, so he’ll probably suspect EJ had something to do with Sami’s disappearance.
EJ may not actually be involved, but that won’t stop John from going to the DiMera mansion for a grilling session.
Viewers will see EJ have a massive outburst in the aftermath, so that hot temper of his will be on full display!
As for Allie and Marlena on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, they’ll receive texts that are supposedly from Sami.
Naturally, they could actually be from the kidnapper if the goal is to throw Sami’s loved ones off the trail.
Whatever the case, Days spoilers say Marlena and Allie should be puzzled over these bizarre texts.
If “Sami” claims to need space, it should leave Allie and Marlena thinking it’s not like Sami to just give up and hide like this.
Other Days spoilers state that Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) confession plan will fail thanks to Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs).
Olivia will manage to halt Paulina’s attempt to spill the truth about being Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) biological mother, so there’ll be no more family issues for now.
Unfortunately, Paulina is only delaying the inevitable since Lani’s indeed going to find out the real story down the road.
