Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, December 8 Recap – EJ Stops Nicole & Rafe’s Kiss – Sami Reunites with Allie

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 8, reveals that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) stopped Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) from sharing a kiss while Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) fled Wisconsin and reunited with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) back in Salem.

First on Wednesday’s Days episode, EJ got Nicole to agree to his dinner invite over the phone. Once EJ disconnected, he knocked on Ava’s door and made it clear that he knew she was Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) accomplice.

EJ wasn’t interested in blabbing since Kristen was his sister and he didn’t want her back in prison. He also felt he owed Kristen for telling him about Sami’s betrayal with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).

However, EJ also admitted Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) would dump Ava and make a beeline for Nicole if he knew the truth – and he wasn’t about to let that happen.

Ava acted like Rafe’s feelings for Nicole were in the past, but EJ had flashbacks of Nicole telling him about sleeping with Rafe on the conference table and urging him to keep quiet.

EJ didn’t tell Ava about any of that, but he felt they were on the same page about keeping Ava and Kristen’s collaboration to themselves. He just wanted Ava to know that nothing happens in this town without him knowing about it!

Next on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Allie gave Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) updates on Sami being kidnapped. She explained Sami’s recent call and how Lucas was trying to track her mom down in some remote part of Wisconsin.

Tripp wondered if possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) might’ve had something to do with this, but Allie pointed out that the timing didn’t add up.

In captivity, Sami managed to tie up Jason (Noel Gugliemi) the guard before he woke up. Jason found out Sami’s ex was on the way and tried to scare her into thinking another guard might’ve killed him by now.

Fortunately, Lucas burst in and helped Sami grill Jason about who his boss was. Sami even offered to help Jason get immunity, but he said he’d take his chances in court.

After Jason was untied, Lucas and Sami did their best lead him out together. Jason flung Sami against the wall, so she hit her head while he made a break for it.

Although Lucas chased after him briefly, he returned and admitted to Sami that Jason got away.

Sami assured Lucas that she was fine and put off dealing with the cops for now. She was eager to get home – and soon after, she shared a heartfelt reunion with a relieved Allie.

At the hospital, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) found a down-in-the-dumps Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). Paulina admitted Abe Carver (James Carver) may never be able to trust her again, so Kate didn’t blame him under the circumstances.

Kate was curious why Paulina had been willing to walk away from Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers), so Paulina admitted Lani’s father was controlling and abusive.

Kate understood and shared her own experience in being married to a controlling, abusive man. She was sorry for judging Paulina without having all the facts and genuinely wished her luck with Abe.

At the DiMera mansion on Wednesday’s Days episode, Rafe showed up to ask some questions related to Kristen’s escape.

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) insisted on Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) staying in the room and wondered if Rafe was accusing him of helping Kristen.

After Chad denied any involvement, he pointed out that Kristen actually broke her promise NOT to escape.

Chad also admitted Kristen stole his phone at one point and deleted the call long, so Rafe assumed she was calling her accomplice.

Chad handed over the phone so the IT team could try to get the info back before Rafe headed out. That left Chad and Abigail to resume their plan to make love upstairs.

As Rafe was leaving, he ran into Nicole and put her through a grilling session about her romance with EJ.

Nicole was hopeful that this would indeed turn into something serious. She thought it’d make things less confusing with Rafe and wanted to put what happened in the office behind them.

Rafe wasn’t sure he could do that, though he was trying. He confessed that making love to Nicole felt right, so saying he’d put it behind him and actually doing it were two very different things.

Nicole and Rafe leaned in like they were about to kiss, but EJ interrupted before they had a chance.

“Well, well, well…what have we here?” EJ asked as he approached Rafe and Nicole.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say EJ will want the truth about Nicole’s feelings soon enough, so stay tuned to DOOL!
