Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, June 23, tease that Chanel Dupree (Precious Way and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will be on an urgent mission while Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) tackle a corpse disposal. Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will also drop a bomb on Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers), so here’s what Days fans can look forward to.
At Julie’s Place on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will do his best to pry some answers out of Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
Jack just overheard them talking about Gwen, so he’ll push Kayla and Steve to spill what this is about.
Of course, Steve and Kayla may not want to blab about Gwen being caught up in Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) drug drama – especially since they don’t have proof yet.
It seems like Kayla and Steve will just have to make up some excuse for now, but Jack will undoubtedly give another speech about how he hopes they’ll give Gwen a chance.
At the Horton house on Wednesday’s Days episode, Gwen and Xander will freak over having a dead body to dispose of. They may debate calling 911, which would be a good idea since Dr. Snyder apparently died of a heart attack.
There’s no reason Xander and Gwen would get in trouble for that, but Gwen may fear her secret will be in jeopardy if she has to explain what Dr. Snyder was doing there.
Whatever the case, Xander and Gwen will decide they can’t call the cops or let anyone know what’s gone down.
When Julie appears, Gwen and Xander will claim Dr. Snyder is a drunk friend of Jack’s who simply passed out on the couch. That’ll put out one fire, but another one’s coming when Jack returns home.
Xander and Gwen will cover Dr. Snyder up with a blanket and put him beneath their feet while they watch TV together. Although Jack may be suspicious at first, he’ll ultimately decide it’s just good to see Xander and Gwen getting along.
After Jack’s handled on Wednesday’s Days episode, Gwen and Xander will have to figure out a more permanent solution. It looks like that’ll involve stashing Dr. Snyder’s corpse in the back of a car and hauling him down to the lake for dumping.
In the meantime, Chanel and Allie will turn to Julie for help. They’ll be hoping for Julie’s seal of approval, so they’ll probably present a batch of doughnuts for Julie to try.
Allie and Chanel will likely hope the recipe is as good as Julie remembers so they can feel confident about putting it on the bakery menu.
As for Lani, she’ll face some shocking news when Paulina stops by the apartment. Paulina will admit she slept with Lani’s father last night, so this conversation is bound to make Lani uncomfortable.
Things should be a little less awkward on Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) end of things. Abe will offer updates to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), who should be pleased to hear that Abe finally made his move!
