Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, March 31 Recap – Ben & Claire Hold Hands in Tender Moment – Brady Pushes Hurt Chloe Away

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 31, reveals that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) scolded Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) for ordering up a ton of room service. Paulina warned Chanel not to touch that food and insisted she’d eat it all herself since it was paid for with HER money.

Paulina was adamant that Chanel needed to get a job and learn to pay her own way. She complained about having to cut off Chanel’s spending since she was throwing money around all over the world.

Chanel smiled over one particularly fun trip to South Africa, but Paulina didn’t spend her life working this hard just to foot the bill for her freeloader daughter.

Chanel ranted about how she grew up in daycare and with nannies. She would’ve rather had time with her mom, but Paulina argued that she had to put food on the table.

Chanel countered that it didn’t have to be caviar! In the end, Paulina wouldn’t budge on sharing the room service, so Chanel stormed out without eating anything.

At the hospital on Wednesday’s Days episode, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) told Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) might be able to hypnotize Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) and help her remember.

Ben knew that Ciara still loved him in her heart, but Theo wasn’t as certain.

Although Ben felt like a supportive friend should support Ciara’s marriage, Theo didn’t see why he should since he didn’t even know Ben. Everyone told Theo that Ben had changed, but it’s not like Theo had ever seen that version for himself.

Ben vowed to prove it to Theo and hoped that Theo would be a good enough friend to convince Ciara to retrieve her memories. Theo said he was just happy to have his best friend back and rushed off to get the ice cream Ciara asked for.

Once Theo picked up the ice cream, he literally bumped into Chanel in the town square and recognized her. Theo wondered if Chanel had come looking for him, but she assured him she wasn’t a stalker.

Chanel and Theo were surprised to realize they both had family there in Salem. They talked about the last time they saw each other in Cape Town, where Theo insisted Chanel broke up with him.

However, Chanel argued that it was mutual and reminded Theo that they agreed to remain friends. Theo admitted it was an amicable split, so Chanel wanted Theo to take her out to dinner and catch up.

Theo couldn’t since he had to get that ice cream back to his friend in the hospital. He explained to Chanel that Ciara was injured and wound up in the hospital.

Later, Chanel was in a funk when she returned to Paulina’s hotel suite. She refused to talk about what was wrong and suggested it was nothing she couldn’t handle.

Paulina offered up some leftover crab claws, which seemed to lift Chanel’s spirits. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chanel will complicate Theo’s life in the coming weeks, so stick with DOOL for more romantic drama!

At home, Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) was battling a hangover and offered updates to Belle Brady (Martha Madison) on all the Chanel Champagne drama. Talk turned to Ciara’s hatred over Claire, so Belle decided to pay Ciara a visit and talk to her.

In Ciara’s room, Marlena explained that she could hypnotize Ciara to potentially help her remember. Ciara was still struggling over the idea of being married to the necktie killer, but Marlena argued that Ben got medication and real help.

Marlena insisted Ben had put in the work to get better – otherwise she never would’ve advocated for his release.

Marlena also spoke up for Claire’s sake. She felt like there were so many good memories waiting for Ciara if she wanted to try getting them back. Afterward, Belle showed up see Ciara and acknowledged that Claire had made some terrible mistakes in the past.

Nevertheless, Belle was hopeful that Ciara could eventually remember how much they meant to each other.

Once Ciara was alone, she gazed at her wedding photo again before Theo arrived. Ciara teased Theo about the ice cream being soupy and quizzed him about the “mysterious ice cream melter” he ran into.

Theo kept things vague and turned down Ciara’s offer to share ice cream, so she joked about not wanting to share it anyway.

When Ben arrived to see Claire, he could tell she wasn’t feeling the greatest. Claire surprised Ben by admitting to a hangover and then learned Ciara was considering hypnosis.

Claire felt that was a great idea and hope Ciara would take that step. She pointed out Belle was off making a case for her and hopefully Ben, too.

Ben and Claire commiserated since they were still a serial killer and the slut who tried to steal Ciara’s boyfriend in Ciara’s mind. Ben admitted that when he looks in Ciara’s eyes, it’s like losing her all over again.

Ben insisted this memory loss just couldn’t be permanent. Claire took Ben’s hand as they shared a tender moment.

At the townhouse, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) wanted to know what secret “Susan Banks” aka Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) was keeping from him.

“Susan” told Brady that Chloe had feelings for him, so he admitted he’d also heard that from Kristen and Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). Even so, it seemed like it affected Brady more knowing Chloe actually confided in “Susan.”

Brady felt it was best to talk to Chloe and get everything out in the open, but “Susan” insisted that was a terrible plan. She felt Chloe would be mortified and suggested the best thing Brady could do is keep his distance. “Susan” reminded Brady of his commitment to Kristen and suggested that Chloe needed space.

After dinner, Brady sent Susan to the kitchen and spoke with Chloe alone. Chloe found out about Kristen not wanting to see Brady for a while, so she was sympathetic.

When Brady opted to work from home tomorrow instead of going into the office, Chloe was taken aback. She assumed Brady was going to spend extra time with Rachel Black (Rosalind and Josephine May), but things were awkward.

After Chloe was gone on Wednesday’s Days episode, “Susan” approached Brady and felt he had done the right thing. Brady worried that Chloe seemed hurt, but “Susan” insisted that Chloe had been unlucky in love more than once and would get over it.
