Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 12, reveals that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) had surgery while Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) went wild in Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) bed.
Things took a scary turn for Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) as well, so let’s talk about all the action on Wednesday’s DOOL episode.
In Brady’s hospital room, disguised Kristen used another voice and let Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) know she was there to prep Brady for his surgery.
Once Chloe stepped out, Kristen sat by Brady’s bedside and cried about how sorry she was for causing his accident. Distraught Kristen assured Brady that she’d be praying for him.
In the town square, Sami was curious about what Nicole was up to, so she started to follow Nicole and Xander into the Salem Inn. Suddenly, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) appeared, so Sami remembered the task at hand and told them about Brady being hospitalized after his car crash.
Once Sami promised to meet Marlena and John at the hospital, she slipped in the Salem Inn and approached Xander’s hotel room door. Kristen’s phone call interrupted Sami, who was forced to meet with her partner in crime in the park.
Sami wondered what this was about, so Kristen eventually admitted that she kidnapped Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and inadvertently caused Brady’s accident. “He’s fighting for his life because of you?!” Sami exclaimed on Wednesday’s Days episode.
Sami eventually toned down her outrage and insisted she knew Kristen really did love Brady. She just couldn’t help recapture Kate since that was Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) mother and her children’s grandmother.
Sami started to call Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) since all of this had gotten out of hand, but Kristen stopped the call by injecting her with a drug-filled syringe.
“You bitch!” Sami shouted as she put Kristen in a chokehold on Wednesday’s Days episode. Sami went limp as she lost consciousness soon after, so Kristen was left with another problem to deal with.
Back at the hospital, Chloe filled John and Marlena in on Brady waking up for a few moments earlier. She admitted that Brady asked for Kristen, but then he said “Kristen’s not Kristen” and wasn’t making any sense.
A little later, Brady’s loved ones shared some supportive words as he was wheeled back for his surgery.
In Xander’s suite, he yanked Nicole’s phone away when it rang and realized it was Rafe calling. Nicole mentioned how Rafe was 10 times the man Xander was, so Xander decided she must have the hots for Rafe.
As Xander and Nicole continued to throw back drinks, Nicole confessed to feeling like a horrible person because she was jealous of Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) over her date.
Xander felt Nicole was simply reverting to form and would never be good enough for men like Eric and Rafe. He thought Nicole should be like him since he was done waiting for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to come to her senses.
Xander said that birds of a feather flock together, so he asked Nicole if she wanted to “flock.” Nicole insisted she’d never sleep with Xander and ranted about how she hated him.
However, Xander kept trying to rile Nicole up until she finally ripped his shirt open and slapped him. Seconds later, Nicole pulled Xander into a steamy kiss before they stripped down and went wild on the bed.
At Julie’s Place, Rafe got Nicole’s voicemail before Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) appeared. Steve thought Rafe looked like he was overdressed for dinner alone, so Rafe admitted he was on a date.
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) appeared, so Steve felt he should warn Rafe about the kind of person Ava was.
Steve insisted that Ava made his life a “living hell” and added that she terrorized his whole family. He felt they were lucky to have survived, but Rafe tried to shut Steve down since this wasn’t the right time.
Nevertheless, Ava felt like Steve had a right to say all this. She knew every word was true and apologized since she hadn’t known the difference between love and obsession back then.
Ava wanted to be a better person and move past her mistakes. She hoped she could be someone who was worthy of a man like Rafe. Although Rafe smiled as Ava spoke, Steve didn’t look convinced and confessed he wasn’t ready to forgive Ava.
Steve felt he had to look out for his friend, but he told Rafe and Ava to have a good night since he got what he needed to off his chest.
Afterward, Ava suggested there’d probably be more interactions like that if Rafe chose to be with her. She understood if Rafe wanted to run for the hills, but Rafe felt he was right where he wanted to be.
Ava and Rafe shared a tender moment of handholding before going home, where Ava decided to quit while she was ahead and go to bed. Rafe gave her a goodnight kiss before they wrapped up their night.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ava and Rafe’s romance will continue to develop, so don’t miss what’s ahead on DOOL. CDL will have lots of other great Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news to check out, so stop by again soon.
