Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, October 6, tease that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will come home devastated while Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) offers hitman Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) dirt to Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will also trap the judge for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), so let’s discuss what’s in store.
For starters, Maggie will finally return to Salem, so she’ll have a chance to catch up with some of her loved ones. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will certainly be glad to see Maggie again, but the mood will turn grim thanks to Maggie’s crushing news.
Days spoilers say Brady and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will get updates on Maggie’s time away. It seems Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson), who was suffering from cirrhosis of the liver, finally passed away under Maggie’s care. Maggie should still be mourning her daughter, but she’ll have Chloe and Brady to lean on as she tries to heal.
Next, DOOL spoilers say Ava will come through with the mob dirt Philip needs. She’ll show Philip something on a tablet and give him blackmail material to use against Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). Gabi will have to give Titan full control of Gabi Chic or else Jake could land in prison for the old murders he committed.
While Philip gets ready to drop that bomb, Gabi will seem confused as Jake and Ava show her something in the bedroom at home. Ava might pretend to play nice and offer breakfast in bed – or perhaps a dream will offer some comical spin on the old “horse head in a bed” mob threat.
Other Days spoilers say Xander will give Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) another push toward teaming up. Justin will decide he’s on board with blackmailing the corrupt judge, so he’ll scheme with Xander while Gwen pulls off her part of the plot.
Gwen previously suggested pretending to be a prostitute and trapping the judge by offering her services. She thought maybe she could get a recording and use it to score Xander’s freedom. It could hopefully score Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) freedom as well, but Xander was concerned about Gwen putting herself in danger like that.
Nevertheless, Gwen doesn’t want to see Xander thrown behind bars and will do everything in her power to make sure they reunite on the outside. She’ll sink as low as she has to go and take whatever risks she has to take! As other Days news rolls in, we’ll keep you posted.
