Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, October 6, teases that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will get a bedroom surprise while Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) face some bad news. Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will also score a blackmail bomb, which he’ll get ready to drop on Gabi when the time is right.
At the Hernandez house, Days spoilers say Gabi will share some cozy moments with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) in the bedroom. However, there’ll also be some confusion as Gabi looks at something near the foot of the bed.
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will seem pleased over what she might consider a gift.
Maybe Ava will mess with Gabi by bringing breakfast and dropping subtle hints about the trouble that’s brewing.
On the other hand, Gabi might have a nightmare since she was rattled over her mob conversation with Jake. Days spoilers say Gabi will seem more baffled than horrified, so it shouldn’t be as extreme as a horse head in her bed.
Even so, there could be some other funny surprise – like Duke the teddy bear’s head or some other humorous harbinger of doom.
As for Philip, he’ll have an important meeting with Ava and get some information he can use as part of a blackmail plot.
It looks like Angelo Vitali (Tamara Braun) will come through for Ava and make sure she’s got the goods on Jake. Philip will plan to deliver an ultimatum, which will require to choose between her company or the man she loves.
Gabi will need to give up Gabi Chic to keep Jake from landing behind bars for old mob crimes.
While Philip prepares to back Gabi into a corner with hitman info, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will get down in the mud for Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) sake.
We’ll see if Gwen goes as far as pretending to be a hooker like she planned! Gwen will certainly play dirty enough to make sure she’s got solid leverage to use against the judge.
In the meantime, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will surrender and help Xander with his efforts to become a free man.
Taking down this judge means Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) could walk free as well, so Justin will be motivated to help all parties involved here.
Over with Chloe and Brady, they’ll get some somber updates from Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).
Maggie will be back in town after her extended trip away caring for Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson), who’s likely died by now due to cirrhosis of the liver.
Although Brady and Chloe certainly weren’t close to Summer, they’ll still feel for Maggie as she grieves the loss of her daughter.
Brady once saved Summer from killing herself in the ocean, so at least he was able to give her a few more years to ultimately reconnect with Maggie.
On the bright side, this marks Maggie’s long-awaited DOOL return and will put her back in the Salem action more often.
