Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of April 19-23 teases that some surprises are coming up in Salem – including one that Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) finds downright laughable.
Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will decide to turn the tables and make his new marriage to Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) work in his favor.
That means demanding $10 million from Paulina if she wants Xander to divorce her daughter! Chanel will be in on this scam, which Paulina will think is totally ridiculous.
However, Xander may play up his sinister history and suggest it’d be a shame if he reverted to the dark side. He might hope he can put enough fear in Paulina to convince her she should pay up and protect Chanel.
Meanwhile, Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) will expose “Susan Banks” as Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in a tense faceoff. After “Susan” tries to make trouble for Kate and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), Kate will immediately grow suspicious.
Since Kristen has posed as Susan before, that may be part of why Kate follows her hunch and rips Kristen’s wig off. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate will threaten to expose Kristen’s swap and have her thrown back at Statesville, but Kristen will opt to kidnap Kate instead!
Over with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), she’ll get an ultrasound done at the hospital. This should make the pregnancy seem quite real for Gwen, who’ll ultimately decide not to terminate.
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will be adamant that Gwen can’t have Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) baby, but Chad will remind Abigail it’s not her choice to make.
It isn’t Chad’s choice either, so he’ll accept that they have to deal with whatever Gwen decides. Once Gwen tells Chad she’s indeed keeping her impending bundle of joy, Days spoilers state that he’ll make his stance clear.
Although Chad will be willing to step up as a father, he won’t want Gwen thinking he intends to be there for his new “baby mama,” too. This will be strictly about their child as far as Chad’s concerned.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will get some troubling news from Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal).
Ciara will grow frustrated when Ben once again visits her in the hospital. She told Ben she never wanted to see him again, but Ben just won’t be able to stay away.
However, Ciara will insist she won’t be around to pester for much longer. She’ll tell Ben that she’s leaving town with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson), so Ben will wonder if that’s because they’re friends.
“We’re more than friends,” Ciara says smugly in DOOL’s weekly preview video. It looks like Ciara will take great pleasure in rubbing it in, but Ben won’t let Ciara go without a fight. Even so, Ciara’s updates will leave Ben more devastated than ever that it’s come to this.
Days spoilers say Ciara and Theo will grow even closer as they presumably prepare to head back to South Africa together.
