Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of December 13-17 tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will fight while Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) kisses EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will also corner Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) at the cabin, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, possessed Marlena will stir up conflict between Ciara and Ben.
Since Ben is too trusting of Marlena and isn’t seeing the same red flags, Ciara will no doubt grow frustrated with him. Of course, the devil will love creating all this friction as he continues to inhabit Marlena.
Back in Salem, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) will worry that possessed Marlena could come back for her son. She’ll be in quite a tizzy over that possibility, but EJ will do his best to soothe her concerns.
As for John and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), they’ll face a shocking realization.
Shawn and John will realize Ben’s gone missing along with Ciara, so they’ll naturally fear possessed Marlena has manipulated the couple somehow.
DOOL fans know that’s exactly what Marlena did, but she’s in for a rude awakening when John and Shawn make their way to the cabin.
Days spoilers say an epic showdown is coming up between John and possessed Marlena. Ben and Shawn will also be part of that battle, but they’ll try to make sure pregnant Ciara stays protected.
Ciara will reel when she discovers Marlena is possessed by the devil and has been targeting her unborn child. While Ciara worries about the cabin outcome, the devil will be way ahead of her.
Possessed Marlena will pull off some new tricks, so that’ll keep the drama going and eventually put the devil back in Salem.
Next, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will blow up at Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) for murdering Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) – and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will get an earful for cheating with Brady.
Chloe didn’t betray Philip and Brady didn’t commit this deadly crime, but Kate will blame them both for what she believes is Philip’s grim fate.
Over with DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), she’ll become increasingly convinced of Brady’s guilt. Philip’s artificial leg will be found in the river and leave Trask eager to arrest Brady in the homicide investigation.
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will want justice for Philip and will demand to know why Brady hasn’t been taken into custody yet.
While Lucas grills Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will hold off Trask as long as they can. It sounds like Lani and Eli will have some doubts about Brady being the culprit, but his arrest is coming up anyway.
Kate and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will face a tough choice together, so that could involve having Philip officially declared dead and planning a funeral. However, Kate’s set to make a discovery that could change everything a little later.
Philip might feel guilty about letting his mother think he’s dead, so it’ll be interesting to see if he sends Kate a sign that he’s secretly alive and well.
Chloe will encourage Brady to fight hard for his memories of that night. She’ll think that could be the key to cracking this mystery and will ultimately decide she supports Brady despite previous doubts.
While Susan urges EJ to talk about his feelings for Sami, Days spoilers say Sami will be busy having another heated confrontation with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
Rafe will get in the middle of that feud eventually, so that could be when he says the wrong thing and gets slapped by Nicole.
Nicole will indeed smack Rafe across the face in a moment of frustration. Speaking of frustration, Lucas will feel like he’s going to be stuck pining forever.
Lucas will continue to yearn for a Sami reunion, so Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will encourage Lucas to work on rekindling things with his former flame.
Other Days spoilers say Sami will plant a hot kiss on EJ, but he may not respond well to it. Look for Sami to pass along some new divorce papers and perhaps accept that EJ doesn’t want her anymore.
The truth is EJ’s in denial about what’s in his heart and is convincing himself he wants to move on. It’ll be interesting to see how long EJ can keep up that act since he still feels so much for Sami.
As for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), her plan to keep Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) away from Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) won’t work indefinitely.
Xander and Gwen will bump into Rex in the town square, so that’ll lead to Rex’s revelation that he never left Salem with Sarah and has no clue where she went.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will want more Sarah answers, so Gwen will grow increasingly nervous.
