Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of December 13-17 teases that Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) chokehold will stop John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) devil confession while Rex Brady’s (Kyle Lowder) news stuns Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).
DOOL’s weekly promo kicks off with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) crumbling in Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) arms over Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) prosthetic leg.
Once it’s confirmed that prosthetic leg indeed belongs to Philip, Kate will be devastated and assume her son is dead.
However, Days spoilers say Kate’s set to make a shocking discovery later. She’ll open the door and look like she’s seen a ghost, so there’s a good chance Philip will reveal he’s alive and well.
Philip may come clean about framing Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) so that Kate won’t worry, but that’ll just bring new concerns about what Philip’s going to do next.
Of course, Kate has done her fair share of scheming – like when she pretended to be blind to get back at Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus).
Kate has no room to talk and may become Philip’s partner in crime, even if she fears this could end in disaster.
Other Days spoilers say Xander and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will encounter Rex in the town square. That’ll lead to Xander asking questions about Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), but Rex will clarify that they were never together.
Xander will reel as Rex explains Sarah dumped him before they ever had a chance at a fresh start.
That’ll leave Xander wondering where Sarah is now, but Rex won’t have any answers and won’t be interested in continuing the conversation.
Since Gwen knows Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) plopped Sarah on a deserted island, she’ll worry about what’s ahead.
Gwen will have to fret over the possibility that Xander will find Sarah AND that he might learn Gwen hid the truth!
While Gwen’s sweating bullets, John will show up at the cabin to stop possessed Marlena. He’ll try to expose the devil’s takeover, but Marlena will use her twisted powers to choke John into silence.
Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will be off the property by the time this happens, but Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will have a front-row seat to the action.
When John tries to fight possessed Marlena off, Ben will assume John’s being abusive and will immediately deck him.
That’ll lead to John being tied to a chair, but it won’t be long until Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) arrives with possession updates.
The devil himself will ultimately speak to Ben through Marlena and let Ben know his baby has been targeted from the beginning!
