Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of December 20-24 teases that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will deliver some flaming Christmas tree horror after Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) makes a surprise homecoming.
DOOL’s weekly promo begins with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and a familiar face who’s about to return from Boston.
Melissa Reeves will step back into the role of Jennifer, who’ll be thrilled to reunite with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
They’ll all spend some time together at the DiMera mansion before heading to the Horton house for Christmas.
Things will be pleasant enough when all the tree-trimming is going on, but possessed Marlena will soon make this a horrible holiday.
Marlena will go after Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby, so Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will do everything in his power to protect his pregnant wife.
Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will also stand against the devil, but there’s only so much they can do. That’s especially true since possessed Marlena has special powers and will whip out some flaming torches.
John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will finally come face to face with Marlena for another fierce confrontation, but there’ll be a bit of a scare involving the Christmas tree. I
t’s on fire at one point in Days’ weekly preview video, but someone will hopefully put that out before it spreads.
Other Days spoilers say Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will come back from Italy and deliver a shocker.
Chanel and Johnny got married while they were gone, so Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will wonder what the heck her daughter was thinking!
Johnny is a better husband than Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) in Paulina’s book, but she’ll still hate all these impulsive marriages.
Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will also suggest an annulment, but an insulted Johnny will push them to get on board or else.
Next, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will make a stunning bedroom discovery when she finds Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) under the sheets with her lookalike.
Shawn will be equally stunned as he tries to figure out how he’s in bed with one Belle and gazing at another in the doorway.
There’s an easy answer here since Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will team up with the devil, who’ll make her seem identical to Belle for this vengeful mission. Jan will thoroughly enjoy seducing Shawn, even if she has to look like Belle for a while to make it happen.
Sami and EJ will also share a magical reunion just in time for the holidays, so they’ll have a lot to celebrate this year. As other Days news rolls in, we’ll keep bringing you updates.
