Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of December 20-24 teases that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will surrender to Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) while Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) impersonates Belle Brady (Martha Madison). Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will also save Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) from a dangerous situation, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Sami and EJ will feel familiar flying sparks. Despite EJ’s best efforts to stay mad at Sami and push her away, Sami will hold out hope for a reunion. It turns out Sami will get her wish, so DOOL fans can expect some steaminess.
As for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), he’ll make it back from Italy with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and reveal they tied the knot.
The news of this speedy marriage will cause some chaos, so look for EJ, Sami and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) to argue it was a mistake for Chanel and Johnny to wed so fast.
Lani will give Paulina the cold shoulder ahead of Christmas, but Chanel may push for peace in her family.
Days spoilers say Paulina, Lani and Chanel will come together for an important conversation, so they may take a step forward repairing the damage.
Lani can’t forgive and forget, but she may manage to be a little less harsh with her birth mom.
Next, Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will stay out of sight during Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) visit to Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) room.
Kate will cover for Philip, which means she’ll have to lie to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) about her son setting Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) up.
Over with possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), she’ll explain what she wants Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) to do. Marlena will pull off quite the visual trick with Jan as her secret weapon.
Days spoilers say Jan will be happy to dupe Shawn with an anniversary surprise, so Shawn will be a little suspicious when “Belle” aka Jan seduces him.
Nevertheless, “Belle” will look like the real thing due to the devil’s wicked manipulation. Shawn won’t be sure which Belle is the right one initially, but it’ll soon dawn on him that Jan is posing as Belle for this wicked plot.
That’ll leave Shawn and Belle reeling while Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) faces a bombshell of his own. It seems Lucas may check on Kate in her room and discover Philip in the process.
As for Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), he’ll make sure Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) gets medical attention now that the devil’s knocked her out.
Meanwhile, Marlena will ultimately make her way to the Horton house and put on the fiery show.
That’ll lead to Ben stepping in front of Ciara to protect her and their unborn baby.
There’ll be major drama for Ben, Ciara, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) as Marlena brings fire to the gathering.
Days spoilers say John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will work to intervene, but he’ll still find himself needing a miracle.
John’s about to get one since Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is on the verge of a Salem comeback – and luckily, he’ll be a priest again for this next phase of the story.
Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will also return to DOOL while Steve and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) tackle the mystery of Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) sudden disappearance.
Tripp will hopefully turn up unharmed, so we’ll see if he tangles with the devil or just has a bit of a Christmas surprise for Allie.
