Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of September 20-24 tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will spill his secret fears while Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) horror haunts. Salem’s next wedding will also become a hot topic, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
First, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will offer Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) support as she frets over Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) memory lapses.
Doug’s mental state will decline rapidly soon after – and Julie will inadvertently manage to make the situation worse.
Nevertheless, Julie will hope Marlena might be able to help. In fact, this Marlena visit may have been the goal of the story all along!
It seems the devil may be using Doug as a prelude to the real possession drama. Marlena is set to be possessed once again, so it seems like Doug’s storyline will intertwine with hers.
As for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), he’ll discover some shockers in the Sami Brady (Alison Sweeny) story script that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) sends.
Once Johnny reads about Marlena’s possession and fills in Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), she’ll turn to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to find out if that’s really true or not.
John will confirm Marlena was indeed possessed back in the ‘90s and will reflect on the horror that unfolded.
Allie won’t think it’s a good idea for Johnny to make a movie that involves the possession at all since it could hurt their grandparents – plus, all this devil stuff will just prove unsettling in general.
However, Allie will also know that Johnny’s the kind of guy who’ll do whatever he wants no matter what.
As for John, he’ll share some of his troubles during a conversation with Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Abe will also spill the news about perhaps getting married to Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) at some point.
Paulina should have marriage on her mind when she asks for Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) blessing in the week ahead.
Now that Abe and Paulina are genuinely considering the idea, their wedding plans should start coming together.
At the Hernandez house, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will have another heated confrontation.
The result will be a major change for Gabi, so she might tell Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) they’re moving back to the DiMera mansion whether he likes it or not!
Unfortunately, EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) will spin a situation around on Gabi and Jake. We’ll see if that involves control of the DiMera mansion or some other drama they’d rather not deal with.
Back with Johnny, he’ll manage to smooth things over with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and get their romance moving right along again.
Ava will also divulge a secret to Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) – perhaps regarding something she overheard or witnessed regarding Gabi’s scheme.
Other Days spoilers say Philip and Ava will plot against Gabi while Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) hurls accusations at Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Chloe will suspect that Brady and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) are working on Philip’s downfall, but Brady may argue that Philip’s self-sabotaging instead.
Brady will think he has to step up to protect the family legacy and may consider reclaiming the Titan throne since Victor is apparently about to offer it.
Across town, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will track Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) down following her return to Salem. It seems likely that Abigail will surprise Gwen with an apology.
That should add to Gwen’s guilt since she’s still lying about the timing of her miscarriage. Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will talk to Gwen about their romance and hope they can keep the fun going strong.
There’s no denying that Xander’s becoming smitten and perhaps sees the potential to go deeper with this romance eventually.
Finally, Days spoilers say Ben will confess his worst fears to Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal). This should involve an admission involving Ciara’s baby-making goal.
Ben’s reservations are about more than just not rushing into the next chapter of their lives.
The truth is Ben’s worried about passing down sinister traits due to his necktie killer background.
Ciara will reassure Ben after he confides in her, but Ben may not be able to shake his concerns anytime soon. We’ll provide updates as other Days details become available.
