Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) may have to flee Salem to protect her unborn child. Will Ciara say a temporary goodbye to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) while Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) goes wild?
This possession story is going to affect the whole canvas and create drama in some surprising ways. Days has already offered some hints about a storm that’s brewing for Ben and Ciara.
Ben is concerned about passing down some troubling DNA and giving his baby the worst parts of himself, so he’ll open up to Ciara about that soon.
Of course, that could easily fit in this possession storyline if mind-controlled Marlena tries to drag Ben back toward the sinister side.
Regardless, Salem will be thrown into chaos right as Ciara convinces Ben to try for a child.
Ciara could get pregnant rather quickly – only to realize this is perhaps the worst possible time since Salem’s on the verge of becoming so dangerous.
It’s even possible Ciara could lose the baby if DOOL wants to follow the Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) theme.
Hope and Bo lost their first child, so a miscarriage is certainly an option for Ciara.
However, Days Head Writer Ron Carlivati adores Ben and Ciara. “Cin” is obviously one of his favorite couples, so Carlivati might choose to spare Ciara and Ben’s firstborn.
Even so, a temporary exit strategy might still be needed for Victoria Konefal.
Although Konefal is willing to come back for visits, she isn’t there on a full-time basis and may take another extended break – just like when Ciara left with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) for South Africa the last time around.
Ciara might decide she has to put her unborn baby first and leave Salem until the mayhem Marlena unleashes blows over.
That’s especially true if Marlena manages to shake some dangerous desires loose in Ben.
Perhaps Ben himself could urge Ciara to visit Hope for a while and steer clear of Salem until everything’s under control.
