Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will follow Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) trail, so EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) could be the key to finding the love of his life. Let’s put ourselves in Xander’s shoes for a moment and try to figure out some of his upcoming DOOL moves.
Now that Xander has crossed paths with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), he knows a couple crucial pieces of the puzzle. It was at least good for Xander to realize Sarah never left town with Rex and has been missing for months.
Now Xander wants to figure out why Sarah would lie about something like that – and not just to him. The fact that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) received texts backing up the deception is a huge red flag.
Sarah wouldn’t let her mom think she was carrying on a fake relationship with Rex for most of the year. There just wouldn’t be any point to that, so Days spoilers say Xander’s on the verge of more breakthroughs.
The next logical thing for Xander to do is pay Maggie a visit and share what he’s learned.
Of course, Maggie will probably flip out and agree something’s amiss. She may get on the phone and demand that Sarah call her back right this instant.
When Maggie finds herself unable to get Sarah on the line and actually hear her voice, that’ll seal the deal on something being very wrong.
From there, Xander will think back to all the weirdness with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Xander knows Kristen posed as Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) to summon him to the room above the pub – just so he could get a front-row seat to Sarah’s betrayal.
Kristen was in a Sarah mask for that betrayal, but Xander doesn’t have to be in the loop on that to keep following the clues.
Xander can’t grill Kristen again since he doesn’t know where she is, so it makes sense that he’ll turn to EJ next.
Perhaps Xander will suspect EJ knows where Kristen is hiding, but EJ actually knows something equally important.
EJ’s aware of Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) role in helping Kristen escape, so there’s the potential for that shocker to be exposed.
If it does, Ava may rat out Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) for her part in Kristen’s getaway, too.
Days fans know Ava can’t be trusted to keep her mouth shut, especially if Gwen does something to get on her bad side. If Ava’s going down, she’s taking Gwen down with her!
Gwen is bound to crack under the pressure eventually and spill the whole ugly story, but EJ could come in handy once more.
Since Sarah is stashed on Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) old remote island, EJ surely knows where that is.
Although EJ is loyal to his sister at times, he’s not a monster.
There’s no need in letting Sarah rot in the middle of nowhere, so EJ might as well reveal that location to Xander once Kristen’s web of lies has unraveled.
Xander may face a long and winding road to get to the truth, but EJ knows some critical info that could solve the case and set up a “Xarah” reunion. We’ll bring you updates as other Days news rolls in.
