Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) may be forced to cover up Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) death and get rid of his corpse.
Will the new lovers make a secret pact to bury this secret – or more specifically, ditch Dr. Snyder’s dead body in the lake?
Let’s back it up for a second and point out that things are going to sizzle between Gwen and Xander soon.
Days fans know Xander and Gwen clashed as they crossed paths at the Horton house recently. Once Xander’s actually living there, it’ll bring more opportunities for crackling tension!
DOOL’s summer preview features Gwen grabbing Xander before he sternly urges her to let him go. “Is that what you want?” Gwen asks as she remains close. “I’ll show you what I want,” Xander replies before pulling Gwen into an intense, angry lip lock.
This passion between them will lead to Xander caring about Gwen on some level, especially since she’s the daughter of his friend, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
That’s why Xander’s not going to like it one bit when he realizes Dr. Snyder is barking orders and delivering threats.
Xander will think he can take care of Dr. Snyder no problem and will actually choke him at one point. Of course, there’s the potential for all this to end in a fatal disaster. What if one way or another Xander and Gwen wind up with a dead body on their hands?
Even if it’s not intentional, this won’t be a good situation for Gwen and Xander. Days fans know Gwen already claimed Laura Horton’s (Jaime Lyn Bauer) death was accidental, but two dead bodies will become a pattern.
Likewise, Xander’s been under suspicion for the hits he nearly carried out on Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).
It’s better for Xander to avoid being caught with a corpse right now – or ever really considering his history! Everyone knows what Xander is capable of, especially the cops.
In other words, Gwen and Xander would have a good reason to unload Dr. Snyder’s body and pretend this never happened. Is that why Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will find a corpse while swimming in the lake this summer?
It’s easy to imagine Gwen and Xander becoming this criminal couple who covers up this crime together – no doubt in some very comical scenes. Xander and Gwen might load dead Dr. Snyder up in a car trunk and lug him down to the lake for disposal.
They might make a pact to never speak of this again and try to focus on their passionate connection instead.
However, the lake discovery’s set to happen whether Gwen and Xander like it or not. If they’re behind Dr. Snyder’s death, it could come back to bite them despite their best cover-up efforts. We’ll offer updates as other Days news becomes available.
