Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will have a surprising encounter, which will no doubt serve as a chemistry test for the characters. Both Gwen and Xander could use new love interests, so this might be the direction Days is headed in.
DOOL fans know Xander believes he’s been dumped by Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), so he’s not interested in another good girl that he has to change for. As far as Xander’s concerned, that would only end in more pain and disappointment.
Of course, that hookup with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was a one-time deal meant to break up Nicole and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). It was obviously a plot point to free Nicole up for someone else, but Xander clearly isn’t the man for her.
Xander needs a bad girl – a single schemer who isn’t afraid to play dirty and is fed up with all the rotten luck she’s been having. Enter Gwen! It sounds like Xander and Gwen would make the perfect match, so they may be poised to hit things off depending on what their chemistry is like.
Days spoilers say Gwen will bump into Xander during the week of May 24-28, so this is an interesting development. If Gwen and Xander’s encounter is significant enough to have a spoiler about it, then it’s significant enough to suggest they might become a hot new pairing.
Xander doesn’t know Sarah was kidnapped and is being held hostage on a deserted DiMera island.
Xander’s probably not going to uncover that information for quite some time, so he’ll continue to sulk around Salem until he inevitablymeets someone new to connect with. Could that someone be Gwen?
Gwen lost Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and recently lost Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) baby as well.
Once she ultimately gets busted for lying about the timing of her miscarriage and Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) role in it, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will surely turn against Gwen.
That could leave Gwen looking for someone she doesn’t have to try and be a better person for – which is exactly what Xander wants, too. We’ll keep you posted as other Days news and updates emerge.
