Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will almost certainly dump Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) after her Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) secret is exposed. Xander’s lying girlfriend seems poised to pay the price, so let’s discuss what’s ahead on Days.
DOOL fans know Gwen owes Xander a lot for constantly defending her and coming to her rescue. Gwen should’ve told Xander the truth about Sarah the moment she found out, but she let Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) rope her into an escape plot instead.
Now Gwen just keeps digging a deeper and deeper hole for herself. The longer Gwen lets this go on, the worse things are going to be when the truth comes out.
Gwen kept Xander away from Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) on the December 7 episode, but Salem is a pretty small town.
All Gwen really managed to do was delay the inevitable since Xander is indeed set to cross paths with Rex soon enough.
During the week of December 13-17, Gwen will be right by Xander’s side as Rex appears in the town square. Xander will ask about Sarah and try to be the bigger man, but Rex won’t have a clue where Sarah is.
Rex will make it clear that he hasn’t talked to Sarah in months, so Xander will have to wonder where she actually went.
This goes beyond just being interested in the whereabouts of Xander’s former flame. Xander also adores Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), who needs to know where her missing daughter is.
Gwen is letting Maggie suffer as well, so Xander will have plenty of reasons to unleash his wrath.
After Rex’s confession, will Gwen play dumb or finally feel guilty enough to make a confession of her own? Whether Gwen comes clean voluntarily or finds herself spilling while backed into a corner, the result should be the same.
It was already going to be hard for Xander to pass up the chance to be with Sarah again, but Days spoilers suggest Gwen’s lies should seal the deal on Xander pushing Gwen away.
Although Xander might forgive Gwen at some point, there’s no way he’ll do it early on.
Xander is bound to rip into Gwen and kick her to the curb – perhaps just in time to head off on a dramatic DOOL rescue mission for Sarah.
