Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will spin out after Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) once again delays his trip home. When Nicole pushed Eric to follow his heart and help the villagers in the Congo, she had no idea just how dedicated he’d become.
Eric made the unilateral decision to extend his stay by three months, which was bad enough. Now Eric’s about to deliver the news of another three-month extension, so it’s easy to see why Nicole will blow her top!
It’ll be hard for Nicole to understand why Eric is prioritizing this mission over their marriage. Nicole was willing to support Eric’s dream at first, but is she supposed to suffer alone forever? Eric’s actions won’t make sense to Nicole since there was previously so much love between them.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole will be heartbroken, angry and confused – much like another struggling Salemite in town. Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is in a similar boat since he believes Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) dumped him for Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) out of the blue.
That was due to Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) manipulation, but Xander still thinks Sarah bailed on their marriage plans and chose her ex instead. Likewise, Nicole will feel like Eric bailed on their own marriage and chose the villagers over his family back home.
It’s easy to see how Xander and Nicole could find some common ground despite their twisted history. Based on the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers, it looks like Nicole and Xander are headed for trouble!
DOOL fans can expect Nicole to open up to Xander during the week of May 10-14 – and there’s a good chance he’ll confide in Nicole as well. We know that the month of May will bring some self-sabotaging behavior from Nicole, who’ll make a move that could end her relationship.
Days of Our Lives viewers will see Nicole’s “bad girl” side come out to play, so it seems likely that’ll happen in Xander’s bed. Eric might forgive Nicole for cheating with literally anyone else since he’s been such a neglectful husband, but Xander?!

Nicole would never consider sleeping with Xander under normal circumstances, but she’ll be vulnerable and feeling out of control. Days spoilers say Nicole will make a massive mistake she’ll regret, so hooking up with Xander appears to be where the story’s headed.
