However, his threat did not work and this week, June 21-25, Xander will try it again. Telfer talked about how Xander has lost his intimidation factor. DOOL spoilers reveal that when Xander was first introduced, he was a villain. He had no issue being evil and in fact, it was the only way he was written.
Eventually, it became clear that he was really desperate for Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) approval. Then, he met and slept with Sarah Horton (formerly Linsey Godfrey) and she changed him forever. He didn’t become good but he wasn’t totally evil, either.
DOOL Spoilers – Xander’s Failed Return To Evil
Ever since Xander was left heartbroken, which he still doesn’t know the truth about, he has been angry. Xander turned to alcohol to numb the pain. Now, he just wants to be bad again, as well as have a job again.
Xander has tried blackmailing several Salem residents and every single one has failed. He didn’t even have an interest in killing Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney).
The weakened villain was going to do it for the money. Even if Sami didn’t offer him double to not commit murder, he probably wouldn’t have been able to go through with it.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Lost Intimidation Factor
Days of Our Lives spoilers from the new issue of Soap Opera Digest teased what is going on with Xander. Telfer explained that Xander has lost his intimidation factor and threatening Dr. Snyder failed.
“He thinks he’s smart, especially when it comes to anything criminal, but very often, just by engaging with those things, he makes it worse. He already had this standoff with Snyder at the hospital and it was clear that Xander doesn’t have the intimidation factor that he used to have.”
DOOL Spoilers – Dr. Snyder’s Accidental Murder
The Days spoilers preview for this week, June 21-25, show Xander moves on Dr. Snyder when he once again threatens Gwen. Xander’s intention is to scare him. Instead, Xander accidentally kills the evil doctor.
It gets even more complicated because Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) walks in and sees a lifeless body. So, Xander and Gwen have to do damage control and make up a wild story about the man being one of Xander’s drunk friends.
Now, what to do about the body, and what if people start asking questions? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out what happens next with this storyline.
