Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) marriage proposal will shock Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), so the Sarah Horton (Lindsey Godfrey) secret stakes will be higher than ever. Let’s talk about what Xander’s thinking and where panicked Gwen’s head is at, too!
Xander is finally starting to catch on about Sarah and the fact that he got a bogus story. However, Xander can’t figure out why Sarah would lie about leaving town with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), especially to her own mother.
It’d be one thing if Sarah was just trying to get Xander off her back, but Xander knows Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) was deceived as well.
During the week of December 27-January 31, Xander will continue to mull over the weirdness of it all. He’ll battle concerns about where Sarah really is and what’s going on with her.
Even so, Days viewers know Gwen has a knack for distracting Xander – usually in bed! She also knows how to shower Xander with compliments about how he’s the only person who’s ever really stood by her, which is true.
That’s also part of why Gwen absolutely can’t let Sarah be found on that remote island.
Gwen is desperate to keep Xander for herself since he would do just about anything for her.
Xander has taken the fall so many times for Gwen and always has her back.
Gwen will battle guilt, but she’ll feel like she has to be selfish here or else she’ll have no one.
Gwen won’t want Xander turning against her over the secret or jetting off to rescue Sarah just when their own romance is starting to deepen.
That romance will deepen even further when Xander decides to get down on one knee and ask Gwen to be his wife. Gwen certainly wasn’t expecting a marriage proposal, especially not so soon.
Nevertheless, Xander will think they’ve got a good thing going. He won’t want to let it go and will start to believe that maybe Gwen is his true love.
Days spoilers say Xander will try to put his lingering Sarah questions and concerns out of his mind.
Xander will act like Gwen is the only woman he’ll ever need, but he’d have a change of heart if he knew the whole story!
DOOL fans can expect Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) to snoop and potentially blow this case wide open, so Sarah’s rescue should be coming eventually.
Until then, Gwen will react to Xander popping the question and realize just how much she has to lose.
