Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will win for now – and that means Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will find himself facing a life without Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) by his side. Let’s consider what Xander’s world will look like after Linsey Godfrey’s upcoming exit.
Of course, we should recap what Kristen intends to do in case you’re not in the loop. Kristen will don a Sarah mask and dupe Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) into thinking she wants to reunite with him. Days spoilers say Kristen will break Xander’s heart by playing the part of Sarah and acting like she wants her ex instead.
However, it looks like “Sarah” will then dump Rex and leave town. Kristen will apparently make it seem like Sarah has changed her mind and just needs to figure out a path without any of her former flames.
This will probably look like a soul-searching journey for Sarah, so Xander should be convinced he shouldn’t go after her – at least for now.
That could change down the road if Godfrey eventually makes a comeback as Sarah, but this will open the door to other romantic possibilities for Xander in the meantime.
Days could potentially cast someone new to the canvas and let Xander fall in love all over again. It’d be fun to see Xander fall for someone who could bring out his “bad boy” tendencies this time around.
Naturally, there are other options on canvas that could bring out that side of Xander, too. Gwen Rizczcech (Emily O’Brien) immediately comes to mind since she could really use a love interest.
Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) might be another option if Days writers decide to give Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) some serious, steamy competition. Xander and Gabi would be a hot couple if DOOL really wanted to go for it!
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) may loathe Xander right now, but there’s a thin line between love and hate. Maybe Chloe could forgive Xander and move forward with him if he chooses to stick with this reformed version of himself.
Chloe is certainly an intriguing option to keep in mind for Xander if things don’t pan out with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Whatever the case, Xander will need a new woman if Sarah stays out of the picture for a while. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will be truly devastated, so he may seek comfort in someone else’s bed before you know it.
Look for Linsey Godfrey to end her run on March 22 with a short appearance on March 29 as well. After that, Xander will have to face this Sarah-less world alone – and that brings the potential for a sizzling new love story.
