Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) search for Sarah Horton (Lindsay Arnold) may finally begin. Will Xander team up with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) to find their missing former flame?
Lowder was recently seen at the Days studio, so it makes sense that Rex’s return will tie in with an eventual hunt for Sarah.
After all, Sarah’s disappearance has to be investigated sooner or later. DOOL can’t just have Sarah’s loved ones keep pretending they haven’t noticed she’s not in touch.
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is on the run and certainly doesn’t seem concerned about keeping up any kind of ruse to explain Sarah’s absence.
We can assume Kristen’s still having supplies flown to the private island Sarah’s stashed on, but that’s something Kristen no doubt ordered when she first dropped her hostage there.
Kristen probably isn’t sending fake texts or anything to explain since she doesn’t seem concerned about Sarah in the slightest anymore.
Even if Kristen gets caught, she knows she’s the one and only person who can reveal Sarah’s location.
Kristen might even use that to her favor when she inevitably gets caught and needs to cut a deal.
Regardless, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) has to be wondering where her daughter is by now.
Days spoilers say Rex could play a key role in solving the mystery since he can at least confirm Sarah isn’t with him.
Kristen tricked Rex while wearing a Sarah mask, but “Sarah” ditched him and the plan for a new life together at the last second.
Rex might ultimately reveal to Maggie and Xander that he went home alone while Sarah left for parts unknown.
Xander’s going to need a new story and something to do once all the drama with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) winds down.
Gwen and Xander have formed an interesting bond, but it feels more like a friendship with some lust and a few things in common to bring them closer.
Not to mention Xander and Gwen are dealing with the whole dead Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) situation, so that’s forced them to stick together.
This doesn’t seem like some lasting powerful connection – not like what Xander had with Sarah.
Xander considered Sarah to be his true love, so he may leave no stone unturned in his quest to find her!
Rex and Xander could become intriguing partners since they both care about Sarah’s well-being.
