General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is about to learn a devastating truth. There’s been a lot of talk about Peter’s secrets, but we can’t forget that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is keeping a big secret as well.
Peter believes Anna is his mother, but Anna knows that’s not the case. She’s certain that Peter belongs to Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes), but she doesn’t want Peter to think he’s the son of two evil parents.
It’s bad enough that Peter is the spawn of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), so knowing he’s also Alex’s child could really send Peter over the edge.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) encouraged Anna to lie about this crucial piece of information, but now he’s lying to Anna about the extent of Peter’s crimes. This is all building to even bigger trouble, so let’s talk about the next chapter.
General Hospital spoilers say a plan will form during the week of February 22-26. Valentin will agree to help Anna on some plot that affects Peter.
This sounds like some sort of trap or intervention, but Valentin and Anna’s plans will be derailed by a shocker.
It seems likely that Peter will receive some huge news through that manila envelope that’s being sent to him. There were instructions in Alex’s last will and testament, so it appears she wanted Peter to know the truth as part of her final wishes.
Whether Alex is actually dead or not, it looks like her former spouse, Dimitri Marick (Michael Nader), is the one making sure the flash drive she arranged is sent to Peter.
That flash drive may contain a video from Mommy Dearest or some other message that will destroy Peter’s world with the real story.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say a furious Peter will demand answers from Anna, who’ll offer a sincere apology. Anna will undoubtedly assure Peter that she loved him as much as she would if she were his true mother.
The fact that Anna is actually Peter’s aunt won’t matter to her, but it’ll certainly matter to Peter!
Of course, Peter won’t be pleased with Valentin for keeping this info under wraps either. After Peter lashes out, Valentin will insist he cares and was trying to protect him.
GH fans can expect all of this to blow up around the time of the double wedding, so the truth about Peter’s mother may come out in a very public way.
