General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will become increasingly determined to end the threat Peter August (Wes Ramsey) poses to Port Charles. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her baby are certainly at risk, but at least they still fall under the obsession category right now.
That offers a little protection – unlike someone Peter loathes and wants to wipe out. Unfortunately, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is indeed hated by Peter and could become his top target.
Peter recently blamed Valentin for filling Maxie’s head with doubts and confusing her about her feelings. Valentin felt like Peter was just as bad as obsessive Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and argued that Peter didn’t deserve that baby.
When Peter realizes he’s not going to live happily ever after with Maxie and all hope is gone, you can bet Valentin will be blamed once again. Peter normally resorts to murder when it’s a desperate matter of covering up another crime. However, Peter might make an exception in Valentin’s case.
Once Peter has no reason to maintain any semblance of being a good person, he may throw the rulebook out the window. Valentin could become a straight-up murder target depending on how this plays out.
GH fans know Valentin and Anna’s bond has become stronger than ever lately. On the March 24 GH episode, Valentin argued that as long as he had breath left in his body, Anna would have a shoulder to lean on.
Afterward, Valentin made another rather ominous comment. He crossed his heart and hoped to die while making a promise to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), so General Hospital is offering up some troubling clues.
Valentin’s dialogue certainly seems to be pointing to some deadly drama.
It’s doubtful GH will actually kill Valentin off since there have been so many deaths in recent months – the latest one being the demise of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). However, Valentin could still find himself in a life-or-death situation – perhaps one that Anna has to step up and intervene on.
General Hospital spoilers say Anna will make a big decision this spring. She’ll determine that Peter must be neutralized, so we have to consider how far she might go to make that happen.
Now that we’ve got these disturbing Valentin hints, we have reason to believe Anna might save Valentin from Peter’s vengeful murder plans.
Unfortunately, this seems like a story where Peter may not make it out alive. Back when Peter first got the rings for what would become the failed wedding, he had some ominous dialogue of his own.
Peter suggested the rings spoke to him – that they said “’til death do us part.” His creepy tone made it seem like he was predicting his own fatal outcome.
Anna just might be the one to pull the trigger on the man she once believed was her son. Peter and Anna now know he’s her nephew, so they’re still family. There was a bond between them before the truth about Peter came out, so it’d be tough for Anna to deliver a lethal blow.
Nevertheless, Anna may have to put her previous love for Peter aside and make Valentin’s life the priority. Will Anna be the one to finally kill Peter? It seems fitting based on the story GH has told and the hints they’re dishing out.
