General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) Ireland trip will bring some dangerous surprises. Anna will get some terrible news about Sean Donely (John Reilly) during the week of May 17-21, so that’ll be a tough blow. She’ll be with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) when she receives updates on Sean’s death via a difficult phone call.
Once Anna wraps her head around the shocker, she’ll have to fill in other GH characters who knew Sean over the years.
We know Kristina Wagner will return as Felicia Scorpio for the special tribute episode that’s coming up on Friday, May 21. Kimberly McCullough is set to make a comeback as Robin Scorpio-Drake as well.
You can also expect Mac Scorpio (John J. York), Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will be part of this tribute show – along with a very special guest that’s been kept under wraps.
It’ll be interesting to see who this mysterious face is and how he or she will fit into the story.
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Anna will be hesitant to attend Sean’s memorial since it’d mean traveling to Ireland during a stressful time. It’s not the best idea to leave Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) under the circumstances, so Anna will consider skipping the memorial service entirely.
However, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will sense that Anna could use this closure and will encourage her to catch an Ireland flight. Finn may argue that it won’t take long – and Chase will hopefully be stable and doing fairly well at that point anyway.
Once Finn talks Anna into it, she’ll fill Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in on her plans and seek reassurance. Anna will want to be sure Valentin has everything under control and can handle things while she’s gone.
Valentin will let Anna know he’s got this before she dashes off to Ireland for the memorial as well as a little adventure. The late John Reilly’s real-life daughter, Caitlin Reilly, will play Sean’s daughter, Annie. Look for Annie to become a key element in an Ireland mystery that’s brewing.
GH spoilers say this memorial tribute show will bring some flashbacks as the show honors John Reilly, but there’ll be some crucial puzzle pieces that fit with the future, too.
The ABC soap will set the stage for a dramatic climax that’s brewing before May winds down, so there’s plenty of excitement on the way.
