GH fans know there have been major concerns about Liam since he was deprived of oxygen for too long. Liam has a special cooling blanket and has been undergoing advanced hyperthermia treatment, but that process takes time.
It’s been a tough waiting game for Sasha and Brando, but they’re certainly hoping for the best. After Dr. Fleming the neonatologist was called away for an emergency in the NICU, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) stepped up to give Sasha and Brando the latest news. She mentioned that an EEG had been scheduled and suggested she’d serve as a liaison.
Britt will be sure to deliver any important updates from Liam’s medical team, but this EEG is obviously the crucial next step. It’s a test that’ll record the electric sensitivity of the brain and detect any disorders or abnormalities that might be found.
Since Dr. Sofia Navarro already warned about the possibility of brain damage, there’s a lot riding on this EEG and the info it’ll offer.
