General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) may find he can’t stay away from Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Caleb and Kyler Ends), so he could risk Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wrath after his release. Let’s talk about what we know so far and consider the trouble that’s headed Brad’s way.
All signs point to Brad scoring his freedom thanks to Sonny’s guy on the parole board, so Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) isn’t going to be happy about that. Sonny won’t like it either, but he did what he had to do to strike a deal with Selina Wu (Lydia Look).
Of course, Sonny also warned Selina that one part of their original agreement was still in place. If Brad dares to come anywhere near Sonny’s grandson, he’s vowed that there’ll be “hell to pay.”
We have to acknowledge that Sonny’s concerns don’t seem that warranted based on Brad’s behavior when he was serving as a dad to Wiley. Brad spent so much time worrying that the truth would come out that he honestly wasn’t even that attached to the kid!
It was Lucas Jones (last played by Matt Trudeau) who was truly devastated when Wiley went back to his rightful father.
In other words, Brad cared about Wiley, but it just doesn’t seem like he’s any great threat here. Brad isn’t going to snatch Wiley and run away to start a new life together or anything like that.
However, Port Charles isn’t that big of a town, which means a Brad and Wiley run-in is unavoidable. In fact, one might happen right off the bat.
On December 14, Brad’s parole hearing should go in his favor. The very next day, Michael will be shocked over something he witnesses.
Meanwhile, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will go on a holiday shopping trip with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), but that outing will take a wrong turn. GH spoilers say Olivia and Willow’s trip will go amiss somehow, so they may start to panic.
It sounds like Olivia and Willow might take their sons shopping with them, so Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) – who tends to run off when adults aren’t looking – could easily lead Wiley off to play somewhere.
What if Brad ends up being the one to find Wiley after Willow loses track of him?
That could lead to Michael spotting Brad with Wiley in his arms and flipping out. It could also lead to Sonny getting updates and voicing his displeasure.
Naturally, it won’t really be Brad’s fault if he just stumbles across Wiley and feels obligated to help, but Sonny and Michael still won’t like it.
Even if things don’t play out exactly that way, it’s obvious a Brad and Wiley encounter is brewing at some point.
There’s going to be some drama once Brad lands in Wiley’s orbit again, even if it happens by mistake!
