General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) may propose to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and insist he wants marriage as well as a happy family. This could be Brando’s way to prove he’s all in on a future with Sasha and their baby.
Of course, nobody’s saying that Brando and Sasha have to get married because of her surprise pregnancy. As Sasha pointed out to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), it’s not the 1950s!
Sasha is an independent woman and shouldn’t feel obligated to lock herself into a marriage to Brando if that’s not what she wants.
However, GH fans can see there’s a deep connection between Brando and Sasha – one that they might want to take full advantage of. Brando might feel like a marriage proposal would show Sasha the level of his commitment.
Even if they didn’t get married right away, just knowing Brando was truly all in could pull Sasha closer.
Even from prison, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) could remain a threat to Brando and Sasha. Cyrus has gone after people from behind bars before, so Brando might want to make a bold statement with a marriage proposal.
It could be a way to show Brando isn’t going to cower in fear and let Cyrus dictate his choices anymore.
If Brando and Sasha end up married sooner rather than later, they’d be in a position like Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) where they can stand as a daring, united team.
Sasha and Brando could become the next duo to stand together ready to conquer the world!
Cyrus has done more than enough damage and has tormented Brando too much as it is. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) nearly lost her life because of Cyrus, so Brando won’t be willing to let anything happen to Sasha and the baby.
Brando won’t want any more close calls and might think he’d be in the best position to offer protection as Sasha’s devoted husband.
