General Hospital Spoilers: Brando Replaces Jason as Sonny’s Enforcer – Liam’s Death Pushes Dad Down Mob Path?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will likely replace Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) enforcer. It looks like Liam Corbin’s death may push this grieving dad down a new mob path, so let’s talk about what’s in store.

Brando originally seemed keen on helping out in the business, but things changed due to Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) pregnancy and her push for a different kind of life.

Sasha didn’t want to worry about the danger Brando might bring into their baby’s world, so he was more than willing to walk away from all that.

Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) pressured Brando to accept a mob role anyway rather than his less profitable garage gig, but Brando was adamant about putting his family first.

What happens when that family falls apart and leaves Brando with nothing else to cling to?

According to the upcoming EEG results, Brando and Sasha’s baby boy will show no signs of brain activity.

As a result, Liam will eventually be unhooked from all the machines in the NICU. The baby won’t be able to survive on his own and will inevitably die after a sad farewell with his parents.

Sasha already loves Liam more than anything and will sink into the pit of despair over this terrible news.

It could lead to Sasha dumping Brando since a) she won’t be in the right headspace for a romance and b) the sight of Brando alone will remind Sasha of what she’s lost.

It may be hard to even be around Brando since Sasha will be mourning the family they might’ve had. Sasha won’t want to hurt Brando, but she may feel like the best thing they can do is just move on.

Without Liam as the glue holding this relationship together, Sasha may think it’s best to just part ways.

If Brando loses Sasha on top of losing Liam, what’ll be left for him? Brando will want a sense of purpose and will no doubt want to stay close to the supportive Corinthos clan.

There must be a reason why GH writers have been playing up Brando and Sonny’s bond lately. That reason probably involves Brando’s new role as Sonny’s replacement enforcer.

Sonny’s going to need someone he can turn to now that Jason’s gone, so Brando seems poised to step up and be that person.

General Hospital spoilers say Brando may sign up for the mob life after all, so stay tuned.
