General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) could face a scary Novak family threat. Brando may land in a situation where he feels he must work for the Corinthos clan’s mob enemy or risk Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) safety along with the safety of their baby.
GH fans know Sasha doesn’t want Brando caught up in mob drama since she needs to build a stable, secure life for her child.
Sasha can’t have Brando bringing danger around their baby, so Brando understands that and intends to leave the mob behind.
However, Brando’s good intentions may not work out as well as he hopes.
Just because Brando is done with the mob doesn’t mean that the mob’s done with him! This is about more than just passing up a bigger role within the Corinthos organization.
The Novak family includes members who see that they want and refuse to take no for an answer. Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) made it clear that the Novaks liked Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) work, so becoming their employee wasn’t a request.
Of course, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) gave Joey a beating to send the message that Spinelli was off-limits. Joey later came around to deliver more threats, so he proved the Novaks are relentless.
Brando’s biggest mistake may have been to step up and offer to help the Novak family with any car needs. He left Joey impressed and appreciative that someone around there had the right attitude.
Just like with Spinelli, Brando may become the next demanded recruit.
Joey is ruthless along with his relatives, including the infamous Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto). These aren’t the kind of people Brando needs to be associating with when he’s got a child on the way.
Unfortunately, it’d be easy for Joey to manipulate Brando through his new family.
Sasha and the baby she’s carrying have quickly turned into Brando’s kryptonite.
Brando hopes to avoid bringing any mob mayhem close to his new fam, but his plan to steer clear of it may not work. In the end, Brando may indeed have to entrench himself in the Novaks’ territory – just to protect Sasha and this little one.
Whatever the case, there’s surely a reason why the show had Joey approve of Brando. It feels like this could be Brando’s downfall if he isn’t careful!
