General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is crushing hard on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)! Britt is trying to play it cool, but it’s easy to see she’s growing closer to Jason and enjoying the moments they get to spend together.
We’ve seen Britt show genuine concern for Jason’s well-being – and Jason has done the same for her in return. There’s a sweet spark developing, which Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) clearly doesn’t approve of.
Of course, that makes it even more fun since Britt may have to put up with Carly’s disapproval if she ultimately starts dating Jason and becomes a bigger part of his life.
In the meantime, Carly will have to put her trust in Britt when it comes to helping Jason. What matters most right now is keeping Jason out of Pentonville since he’s not safe there. Jason could be killed by one of Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) men, so he’ll be safer on the run.
Although Jason will object to Britt putting her career and even her life on the line for his sake, Britt will indeed risk both of those things for Jason. General Hospital spoilers say Britt will help Jason make his getaway from GH, but it’ll force her to go on the run as well.
That may be partly due to Britt’s rule in helping a fugitive, but it could also be due to Cyrus catching on when it comes to Britt and Jason’s alliance. Cyrus has already denied Britt’s access to the hospital computer system to prevent any more drug research.
If Cyrus realizes just how deep Britt and Jason are in cahoots, he just might decide to kill the chief of staff at General Hospital! Cyrus could put a deadly target on Britt’s back and make her decide life on the run will be safer for her as well.
Naturally, General Hospital spoilers say the main goal here will be to take Britt’s crush on Jason to the next level. Jason seems to have a crush of his own, so this can grow into much stronger feelings for each other.
Britt and Jason can essentially fall in love while they’re in hiding, so that sounds like a great storyline that’ll set up even more drama once they’re back home and can get their legal issues sorted out. We’ll fill you in as other GH news and updates emerge.
