General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s a critical detail of Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) fake stillbirth plan that she hasn’t worked out yet. When Maxie was explaining her idea to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she suggested she’d send the baby to someone she trusted outside Port Charles.
Maxie told Britt not to ask who she’d send her daughter to since she hadn’t thought that far ahead yet. However, Baby Lou may not end up making it outside of PC after all.
Although Maxie’s little girl would be safer at a distance, there’d also be the potential for Peter to follow the trail. The last thing Maxie wants is suspicious Peter chasing after their baby and stealing her to raise for himself.
Plus, it’s tough for Maxie to think about being separated from her family from who knows how long. A better solution might fall right into Maxie’s lap since Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has a sneaky plan of her own in motion.
General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn is hoping to score ELQ control again and intends on using her unborn child to her advantage with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Nevertheless, Brook Lynn has been acting strange and honestly doesn’t seem to be pregnant at all.
It appears Brook Lynn’s plot actually involves a fake baby, so she may need to produce a real one down the road. If Brook Lynn hasn’t locked in ELQ control by the time of the “birth,” she’ll be facing a real dilemma.
Brook Lynn will need a baby to keep her plan going strong – and as luck would have it, Maxie will need to temporarily hide her own infant.
Of course, it’s also possible Brook Lynn will simply do this as part of the plan to keep Baby Lou safe. Even if Brook Lynn manages to score the ELQ control she’s looking for, she certainly won’t want Baby Lou to be vulnerable to unhinged Peter.
If Brook Lynn goes home with this baby, it won’t raise any red flags. Peter will simply see what he believes is a pregnant woman giving birth and ultimately leaving with her newborn from GH.
Maxie has already been curious about Brook Lynn’s pregnancy, so that curiosity could lead to Brook Lynn getting busted.
Maxie might figure out Brook Lynn’s fake baby plan and surprise her by revealing her fake stillbirth plot. Brook Lynn might hear Maxie’s pitch and decide she’s willing to hide the baby right under Peter’s nose!
This could be a great solution until Peter’s threat is eventually eliminated. It seems likely Brook Lynn will play mom to Maxie’s baby and help her hide this newborn in plain sight. As other GH news emerges, we’ll deliver updates.
