General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) may be keeping a huge secret involving her pregnancy. GH fans know Brook Lynn has been urging Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to relax.
Michael and Ned are worried about Brook Lynn using her baby as a bargaining chip, but Brook Lynn’s not stressed about this risky strategy.
Could that be because there’s no baby at all? Based on Brook Lynn’s latest behavior, there are good reasons to think her whole pregnancy may be a scam! Let’s consider some new evidence that could mean Valentin isn’t really going to be a papa again.
On the March 24 episode, Brook Lynn crossed paths with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at GH. Since Brook Lynn is back in Port Charles, Britt noted that Brook Lynn would need to get her medical records transferred.
Maxie added that Brook Lynn would need to find a new OB-GYN in town, too.
Brook Lynn suggested she had an OB-GYN at a hospital in Kings County, but she acted strange when Britt asked it was Lenore Thompson. That was someone Britt went to medical school with.
Brook Lynn quickly insisted she’d never heard of her and tried to steer away from the conversation.
That presents the possibility that Lenore is either in on Brook Lynn’s scam – or that Brook Lynn was just thrown by Britt’s knowledge of things at that hospital. It might’ve been concerning to Brook Lynn if she’s trying to cover up the fact that she never actually had an OB-GYN there.
Regardless, Brook Lynn didn’t want Britt as a replacement OB-GYN and abruptly shut down Britt’s offer to recommend other ones. Britt got the brush-off when Brook Lynn said she’d get back to her and switched the topic to Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Next, Brook Lynn acted weird when Maxie insisted Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) could be her birthing coach since Brook Lynn didn’t want Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Brook Lynn kept trying wiggle out of Lamaze class, but Maxie dragged her off to it anyway. Brook Lynn seemed to be protesting way too much over something that wasn’t a big deal.
In a moment alone, Brook Lynn later decided Lucas would be the perfect person to help with her baby – though she wasn’t sure he’d like her plan. Could Brook Lynn rely on Lucas’ assistance as her pregnancy scam continues?

Brook Lynn’s goal may be to dupe Valentin into signing over ELQ control before dropping the bomb that she’s not really pregnant. There’s no denying that Brook Lynn seems nervous and cagey – like she’s hiding things that could spell trouble.
Brook Lynn’s suspicious behavior suggests she may be lying to Valentin and everyone else about her bun in the oven!
