General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) life will take a dark turn in the coming weeks. GH insiders have been teasing for a while now that Cam’s world would blow apart and fall into darkness, but we’re finally moving into that phase of the story.
The show’s been playing up Cameron and Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) bond – most recently through Cam shaving his head in solidarity with Franco, who’s losing his own hair due to his cancer treatment.
Of course, we can’t help but notice Cameron looks a lot edgier with short hair than the innocent-looking long locks he had before. That may have been an intentional move ahead of Cameron’s dark arc.
GH writers have also offered some other hints about Cameron taking matters into his own hands when it comes to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
After Franco’s nightmare, Cameron pointed out that Franco had been saying Jason’s name in his sleep. Cam fumed over Jason being unable to get past what Franco did when he had his previous brain tumor.
Franco wondered why Cameron cared what Jason thought, but Cam suggested it was in case he needed to do something about it.
Franco then argued there was nothing anyone in his world could do about Jason, but Cameron fired back that “the hell there isn’t.” General Hospital writers are seemingly offering some good clues about what’s ahead for Cameron and Jason.
It feels like they might be setting the stage for Cam to seek revenge on Jason after Franco’s death.
GH insiders point to Franco being killed off – and new General Hospital spoilers hint that Jason may be blamed for it. Now we’ve got these hints about Cam’s growing rage toward Jason, so it’ll be interesting to see where this leads.
If Cameron believes Jason has murdered Franco, he could easily try to avenge Franco’s death by murdering Jason in response. Cam may feel like Jason has ripped his family apart, so he’ll probably want Jason to pay for that.
General Hospital spoilers say Chad Brannon will reprise his role as Zander Smith for a guest appearance by mid-March.
It looks like Franco may bite the dust during the week of March 8-12, so the time would be right for Cameron to seek revenge soon after – which fits in that mid-March range.
Will Cameron’s dead bio dad appear to him and warn about the danger of heading down this dark path? Zander was a troubled man before his own death, so he may warn Cameron not to make the same mistakes.
Perhaps Zander’s ghost could be the one to stop Cam from trying to kill Jason. That’s good news, especially since it’s doubtful Jason will actually be responsible for Franco’s demise. We’ll keep you in the loop as other GH updates emerge.
