General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) may admit her true Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) feelings to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and reveal that her marriage was more than just a mob strategy.
Right now, Sonny’s seemingly too excited about being home to notice what’s right in front of him. Carly and Jason were upstairs in the bedroom when Sonny found them in a rather close moment, but it didn’t register at all.
When Sonny found out about the new marriage and heard the mob explanation, he thought it was a good tactic to show unity.
However, GH fans know it ultimately became much more than that. Before Jason and Carly tied the knot, they embraced the fact that their old feelings had come to the surface.
Carly and Jason were talking about how right their relationship felt before Sonny burst through the door, so that says a lot about where things stand.
Jason and Carly also traded love professions, so the show can’t just ignore those now.
Although Carly and Jason are thrilled to have Sonny alive and back in Port Charles, that doesn’t mean their feelings for each other will just go away.
Jason’s marriage to Carly is surely invalid since Sonny isn’t dead after all, but the love between “Jarly” will remain.
Of course, Carly and Jason will do their best to fight the feelings they’ve developed lately, but Sonny is a smart guy and may pick up on some clues soon.
Once the shock and bliss of his homecoming wears off, Sonny may realize there’s more going on here.
There might even be some close moment that Sonny witnesses or at least overhears.
Whether Sonny confronts Carly or the guilt of the secret just takes a toll, she may come clean about the shift that went down in Sonny’s absence.
Carly may admit she crossed into the territory of new love and hope Sonny can find a way to understand why it happened.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny and Carly’s reunion will get more complicated as time goes on, so stay tuned.
