General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) could make a baby of their own and become real parents after this Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) protection plan is over.
Now that Chase has been suspended from the police force, he’s got nothing but time on his hands – time that’ll be spent bonding with both Brook Lynn and “Bailey.” The three of them will no doubt start to feel like a real family, so that could lead to the awkwardness that’s coming on December 16.
That’s when Chase and Brook Lynn will get uncomfortable over a little moment between them. Brook Lynn already has a strong friendship with Chase, which is part of why he was so quick to sign on for this protection plan. Chase wanted to help Louise, but he also didn’t want Brook Lynn to go through this alone.
This protective detective wasn’t about to leave Brook Lynn to go up against Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) alone, so he did what he had to do. Now Chase is committed to seeing this plot through with Brook Lynn, so there’ll be more opportunities to strengthen their bond.
Of course, growing closer can sometimes turn awkward as friendship becomes something more. Brook Lynn and Chase may land in a situation where they aren’t sure exactly what’s happening with their relationship. They’ll have to be brave about declaring their feelings sooner or later, but it’s clear that GH has built Brook Lynn and Chase up as a pairing to root for.
Chase is worried about what it’ll be like for Brook Lynn when she’s forced to give “Bailey” up after all this time. Brook Lynn may be more attached to “Bailey” than she thinks she is. Chase will certainly get more attached to “Bailey” as well, so there’ll be some heartbreak for these fake parents when it’s all over.
Brook Lynn and Chase could comfort each other in the bedroom, so that could lead to them making a baby of their own. Perhaps Brook Lynn could end up pregnant for real this time and make Chase a true “baby daddy.”
