General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will face more struggles as his poisoning nightmare continues. GH fans know Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is staying by Chase’s side, but she’s keeping a major secret from him.
Willow already tried to talk to Chase at his apartment, but his collapse delayed that conversation. Although Willow tried again, she faced more interruptions – and now she can’t come clean when Chase is dealing with such horrifying symptoms.
Chase still doesn’t know about Willow and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) steamy reunion.
Chase will thankfully pull through due to the antidote, so it’ll feel like a second chance in so many ways. However, Chase will soon battle some concerns. On April 20, General Hospital spoilers say Chase will be unsure about his future with Willow.
Just a few days later on April 23, Chase will look forward to his next chapter with Willow and will seemingly have no doubts at all.
It’s obvious that a discussion with Willow will be a game-changer. Willow is the only one who could really remove all doubt and make Chase feel certain of what’s ahead for them.
Chase will inevitably remember how Willow wanted to talk to him before. This could leave Chase worried about their relationship, especially if he feels like Willow’s holding back somehow in the aftermath.
Of course, Willow does love Chase – even if it’s not the right kind of love anymore. Willow wants to be with Michael, but she’ll struggle to dump Chase after he goes through such a tough ordeal.
It seems harsh for Chase to barely survive and then realize the woman he loves is rejecting him.
Willow may even find that her feelings for Chase have returned on a deeper level due to almost losing him. We may see Willow insist that what she wanted to tell Chase doesn’t matter anymore, which could give him the green light to do something big and bold.
Chase will want to hold onto Willow after almost losing his life and their shot at a future. There’s nothing like a near-death experience to convince someone there’s no time like the present.
Will Chase propose right there from his hospital bed? It seems like a reasonable thing for Chase to do since he’s crazy about Willow and will want to show her how much she means to him.
Since Willow will apparently give Chase no indication that anything’s wrong between them at that point, why wouldn’t Chase want to pop the question? Chase may suggest he wants to seize the day from now on.
Chase might contend that he wants to make the most of this second chance by marrying Willow and spending the rest of his days with her.
If Chase does propose, then Willow may feel obligated to accept. Since we know Chase will go from feeling uncertain about their future to feeling very certain, Willow accepting a marriage proposal would fit here.
Michael could face total heartbreak if Willow agrees to marry Chase and build a life with him instead. Naturally, all of this seems like angst to keep Michael and Willow apart for a while longer.
Willow and Michael still feel like the endgame couple here, so perhaps Michael will just have to be patient!
