General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) romantic gatehouse plan may end in heartbreak. Will Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) be forced to confess her love for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)?
GH viewers know Michael offered to let Chase move in the Quartermaine mansion, so Chase quickly got on board. There are plenty of perks since Chase can get out of the hospital while still having a doctor nearby.
Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) can keep an eye on Chase and tend to him at a moment’s notice if need be.
However, what Chase is most excited about is having Willow as a neighbor. Even Michael used that as a selling point in his pitch. Chase will be staying in one of the wings at the main house, but the gatehouse is close and ready for Chase to visit soon.
Chase admitted to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that he couldn’t wait to get Willow alone – and there was something about the way he said it that seemed significant.
It feels like General Hospital writers are building to some big moment where Chase indeed gets Willow alone and puts her in a terrible position.
Chase’s health will remain a concern without a cure, but those antidote doses can keep the symptoms under control as long as Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) can keep them coming.
In other words, Chase isn’t at the top of his game, but he’s doing well enough that he could still have the stamina for lovemaking. We’ve seen some changes in Chase as a result of his latest medical battle since he’s so frustrated over the lack of answers.
Chase just wants some sense of normalcy in his life again – and Willow is the only one who can really give that to him.
Since Chase doesn’t know Willow actually wants a future with Michael, he feels like things are going well. Chase is under the impression that this health ordeal has brought him closer to Willow.
Chase comment about getting Willow alone certainly suggests that he wants to make love to her.
Chase may assume they’re going to reconnect in that way, but Willow surely won’t be down for doing the deed. It’d be different if Willow was feeling torn about what was in her heart, but she’s not.
Willow feels sorry for Chase and is dealing with guilt over lying to him, but there’s been no hint of wanting him back. She’s all in on Michael and probably wouldn’t take her deception as far as sleeping with Chase.
With that in mind, how will Willow react if Chase gives her a romantic surprise at the gatehouse? Chase might feel like life is short and hope they can reconnect in the bedroom.
Chase may be in for a crushing blow instead if Willow feels she has no choice but to come clean and shut this down.
