General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will do something that probably should’ve been done a long time ago, but she’ll decide it’s better late than never. During the week of March 22-26, Trina will reach out to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to deliver a heartfelt apology.
GH fans will recall that Trina was looking for someone to blame following the death of her father, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews). Curtis became one of the people who Trina took out her anger on, even though it certainly wasn’t his fault that Taggert had seemingly perished.
Of course, a lot has changed now that Taggert’s out of hiding and has revealed that his death was faked. Curtis was in the dark and has separated from Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) due to her lies, so he suffered due to all the Taggert deception, too.
Trina may recognize that when she goes to Curtis and lets him know how sorry she is for taking out all her frustration on him while she was grieving. However, what we really want to focus on here is this bonding moment.
Curtis certainly won’t hold a grudge over Trina’s harsh treatment of him before. It was a difficult time for Trina when she was mourning the loss.
This could be a chance for Curtis and Trina to connect over having people in their lives that lied and hurt them. General Hospital spoilers say there’ll be some sweet scenes after Trina’s apology and Curtis’ acceptance of it.
Naturally, we’ll continue to see Curtis and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) strengthen their bond as well.
Are the pieces falling into place for another major curveball for Curtis and Trina? Based on the timing of Trina’s conception, she could easily be Curtis’ daughter.
Portia claims Taggert is Trina’s bio dad, but she’s lied to Curtis before and might be lying again. It could be an opportunity for Curtis to see that Jordan isn’t the only liar in town!
GH writers love to change people’s paternity and shake up families, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they still wanted to go with Curtis as Trina’s true father. That’s especially true since Trina had an unknown relative match in Port Charles, which she found out about through an ancestry site.
That was never followed up on, so maybe the time is finally right for this big twist.
Will Trina’s apology lead to her support of Portia and Curtis’ budding romance? Will that set the stage for a major paternity revelation, too? Trina might find out she’s Curtis’ biological daughter – and he could face that bombshell as well if Portia’s been lying to them both all these years.
