General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will confront “Marshall” (Robert Gossett) for stalking, so that may be when his father comes clean about the fatal heart attack lie. Curtis is about to face a family reunion he never expected based on the clues we’ve been given so far.
GH fans know a mysterious man has been lurking around Port Charles with some big secrets. He started by watching Curtis and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) romantic evening at The Savoy.
Soon after, this mystery man inquired about the live acts there and seemed to approve of how Curtis ran his nightclub.
“Marshall” also introduced himself to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) with a phony ailment at GH – seemingly just to get to know TJ and ask him about his uncle.
It’s becoming increasingly obvious that “Marshall” (or whatever his real name is) will be revealed as Curtis’ father.
However, there’ll be growing concerns in the meantime. After Portia crosses paths with “Marshall,” she’ll be curious and somewhat unsettled.
Portia and Curtis will brainstorm the possibilities of who the mystery man might be once she fills him in.
Curtis certainly won’t think it could be his dad since he’s supposedly deceased. It looks like Curtis may fear there’s some sort of mob link since Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will warn him about the criminal underworld.
Curtis will definitely be on edge once he realizes “Marshall” has spoken with TJ, Portia and ultimately Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). It’ll feel like someone’s harassing his loved ones – and Curtis just can’t allow that.
Portia will open up to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about her fears, but Curtis will want to take matters into his own hands.
We may see Curtis set a trap or at least lie in wait somewhere for “Marshall.”
Curtis will want to corner this mystery man for himself and demand answers about the angle he’s working.
That could lead to the shock of a lifetime if “Marshall” reveals he’s Curtis’ dad and that he didn’t die after all.
Curtis may end up even more furious if he feels like his father abandoned him and let him believe this fatal heart attack lie.
Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) would’ve had to have been in on it, so she may get an earful down the road.
Nevertheless, there are at least two sides to every story, so “Marshall” may want Curtis to hear him out.
There may have been some good reasons why “Marshall” kept his distance as well as some good reasons he’s resurfacing now.
Even so, Curtis is sure to unleash his fury over “Marshall” skulking around and scaring the people he cares about. “Marshall” is going about this all wrong and may enrage Curtis in more ways than one.
